MJ's Restaurant Bar & Grill

I went there last night. The band Atlantic sound machine was there. Had the best time. I had the French union soup. Yummy. Crispy onions on top. Coconut shrimp. Also very good. I would differently recommend MJs

We went in tonight. The food was amazing and our waitress Samantha was wonderful and she had tons of tables and I never felt like we were neglected! She was on top of the service and ensuring we had everything we needed.

Thank you Samantha you will be the reason we come back!

Nachos were really good and perfect amount to share. Had the Famous Sliced Steak Sandwich and it was amazing. Cooked to medium and lots of flavor. Wife had the Ahi Tuna salad and enjoyed it as well.

Went to see my friend's band Atlantic Sound Machine last night. The place was packed but we were able to get a seat in the bar area. Our waitress was very attentive and didn't mind when we switched tables after the crowd thinned a little.

We didn't have a meal last night but I've never had a bad meal at MJ's. We did share the Cinnamon apple crunch dessert, it was delicious.

My husband and I wanted to try something different than where we normally go and it was a great decision ! Everybody was great and it was family friendly. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. Our waitress Annie was great especially with our kids. We will definitely be going back and have already told friends and family about our great experience.

Great place but u need to call in advance to make sure they are open many times they close early...

Great local place. Food is great, service is great and prices are very reasonable with generous portions.

UPDATE: Hubby and I went for lunch. First, the place was practically empty. Our waitress, who btw is typically exceptional, got stuck breaking down a bill for a large party. We didn't get waited on for 15 minutes. Ok...no harm done until we got our Chicken Caesar salads(hardly any dressing). They were SO small. My husband had one drink which was a single malt sotch...three items...$60.00 without the tip. Absolutely ridiculous. We're done with this place, I think... not sure what happened with it. 😞

Good food and decent drinks. Apparently out of state licenses are "suspicious" if you're looking to hangout at the bar. Funny how my Florida license qualifies as a Real Id but NJ licenses do not. Overall, the idea I need two forms of ID is ridiculous because I'm Out of State. The bartender and rest of the staff were very cool afterwards though. Cool older gentleman at the bar

Came in with a large group. We sat in the bar area. I ordered 8 boneless wings with honey thai sauce. It was delectable. Also ordered an old fashioned which packed quite a punch but nbd. Server was attentive and swift. 9.6/10

An easy choice for a casual and tasty meal. The french onion soup is yummy. Service is friendly and attentive. Family friendly and they had bingo one time while we were there

A group of us go there on Wednesday night for their Car Show/Cruise Night. We get there early, park, go have dinner and enjoy the show. Their food is good (great thin crust pizza) and friendly service.

Great & Friendly, our waitress was very friendly and treated us very good. We enjoy our meal and we were not rush. Cannot wait to return.

Came in this past Friday and the bartender was on point. Very friendly and the wings were awesome! I’m new to the area and I’m happy I stopped by. I’ll be back!

This place is amazing there is seriously not a bad meal in the house.

I didn't know that there were several MJ's, maybe a chain, until recently. You wouldn't know it, as it has a very down-home local feeling. Warm ambience. The wait staff folks are friendly and very helpful regarding questions and suggestions. It has a variety of dishes, and some vegetarian options. Their veggie burger is killer! They have a nice wine/beer selection, and numerous mixed drinks. The prices are reasonable and the portions generous. I go there every time I visit New Jersey.

MJs is a great local bar. Mike is the best bar tender ever! Great service!
The chicken parm pizza is awesome. Crusted salmon is good too.
Plenty of screens to watch football. Clean friendly place

Yesterday we met a cousin here for lunch with her baby. There was 6 of us, including 2 children. It was our cousins recommendation, so the place was a first for myself, mom and sister. I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is super chill and the service was great. Our server was attentive without interrupting our conversations, refilling drinks consistently. The food was great! I had a burger, mom had a really nice looking salad she enjoyed and my sister had chili which looked delicious. I look forward to going back with my husband and 2 kids since it had a great family friend vibe. I really enjoyed this place!

I love a good hamburger and this place has them! The atmosphere is very casual. The bar is big with a few different TV screens.

I have friends who go here quite often and they also love the food

The look and feel of the table area for eating is kind of okay. Not a great atmosphere. But the food and the service make up for the lack of good seating atmosphere

Great place good food friendly staff and great band they had Fully Loaded there last night.
