Staff: The staff was nice. We could tell the one nice young man was way over worked until his coworker came back from a break.

Building: The building is spacious and very well taken care of.

Food: The ice cream was great. I got a shake.

Speed: The speed was fast for one kid completing orders for a packet house.

Parking: plenty of parking.

Star rating: 5 because of the price and the usefulness of the products.

I have no problem coming back here every chance I get.

They have the best pralines! On our stop by, they had a great deal buying one pound get half pound! Sooo savory.

First the staff is amazing! Always has a positive attitude. second the product is the best! If you have a sweet tooth this is the place to stop! If you need sugar free? They have something for you.

I always stop here at Market Street sweets for my favorite candy! Pecan pralines!!! These are absolutely delicious and addictive! I have been visiting Charleston for many years and I always stop here to satisfy my sweet tooth! You will definitely enjoy the famous pralines. They have regular and chocolate but I prefer the regular ones. I highly recommend a stop here at the Market Street Sweets!!

There are several candy stores in the area but this is my go to place! I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Can I just say…these are without a doubt the best pralines I have ever had! They were still warm when I tried them. Great customer service also. If you like pralines…you must try these!

Staff here is so friendly and welcoming. The store is so nice too. And the sweets... They are the best thing on earth. Whenever I visit Charleston I have to stop by this store and buy pounds of pralines, chocolate pralines, truffles, bear claws... They are impossible to stop eating. They will give you discounts if you buy multiple products so don't be shy! I suggest you try the sea salt dark chocolate bear claws. They are fantastic.

They also do free shipping everywhere in the States and free shipping overseas to US military bases. Ain't that sweet??

So we went to Charleston on a day trip... My husband, my service dog, my daughter, her boyfriend and I were there most of the afternoon. We were looking around for the fudge shop but wound up finding this little gem. As we went in they offered everyone a test of Thier praline and, (let me just say top tier), we started looking around. Oh my goodness they have a great display. The fudge and the truffles were on my daughter's and my mind, then we also got some pralines (chocolate and original). Everything is wonderful. Except I guess down side if the market is crowded and a few people are in there... There is not much room to walk around. Lovely job ladies! Great job. Hope this helps and have a blessed day. 🙏

Wonderful gelato. We got a sample of something delicious but decided on the gelatos instead. So delicious. Will definitely return during our stay in Charleston. I did notice ear in the day as we walked by that they can get busy but definitely worth the line. Lots of choices on candys, candy apples and packaged sweets.

Can’t go to Charleston without stopping by the original Market Street Sweets for a fresh, world famous praline!

We absolutely love stopping in here when we are in town. My favorite snack to get is the Turtles, and truffles. It was even more special this time because my puppy got a treat this time. That have white chocolate dipped milk bones. He was so excited to get a treat he was drooling looking at all the treats through the glass.

Great place, amazing sweets! It felt overly crowded, though, but besides that everything was amazing!

We recently were in Charleston and came across this shoppe. They have every sweet treat imaginable and just happened to arrive just as a nice, fresh and hot kettle of pralines were being turned out. They are truly amazing. We even got sweet treats for our dogs.. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Reasonable prices. A definite must during your stay in Charleston.

Favorite sweets shop to visit in downtown! I visit once a year and it's always great to walk in and speak to the employees and get those delicious pralines!

Excellent all around! I came in about an hour before closing and staff were all busy doing different tasks but still took the time to greet me and offer help. I especially appreciate the associate who offered to let me sample ice cream. I got birthday cake and it was delicious!

I purchased their one of each Praline Pecans, Milk Chocolate Bear Claw and Praline. It was very good. Almost ordered items online, but since I live locally, I elected to stop in. Store is the same as remembered, clean and employee was very friendly. Due to COVID, I didn't have any issues finding parking, which is normally not the case. Normally I will illegally park to shop at this store.
