Mr Sushi & Grill

Mr sushi is the best sushi in the Hudson Valley. Great atmosphere, great service, and most importantly; delicious sushi. My wife and I have been going here for years & will continue too! We order about 12 rolls every time just so we can bring some home; it’s that good! 10/10

Came here after a few years for dinner with the family. Would definitely recommend the mango shrimp as well as the sushi boat. I think the sushi boat can comfortably feed 3 people. The sashimi is some of the best I’ve had in the area.

Nice sushi and hibachi restaurant with Japanese dishes, too. Plenty of parking and seating. Pretty extensive menu. We had sushi this day while shopping in Middletown....kind of a late lunch, early dinner. The sushi was very fresh and well made. The miso soup was just right. The California roll was very tasty for some reason....better than other places. The seaweed salad is very fresh and some crunch, too. Not soggy like some places give you. There's a Golden Mango Shrimp dinner that is big and awesome tasting. If you like eel sushi, try the Unagi (eel) Don. It's a dinner with lots of eel and rice. See the photos below.

This restaurant was originally recommended by a friend. It's worth the trip! Now I can recommend it too!

I really loved my experience here. It was my first time here, I came with my lovely girlfriend. We really enjoyed the options and variety that was offered. I’m definitely going to be visiting this place every time I get the chance. The sushi was very good in my opinion. The place aesthetic this is cool. There’s a bar on one side and a hibachi section on the other side. Which I’m looking forward in trying, next time I’m in the area. The waiter that took care of us was very helpful and funny. Which made the experience ten times better.

Great little place tucked back away in a shopping center. I split the “love boat” platter with my friend. It’s the perfect amount of sushi for two people. The servers are very attentive, and all the sushi is made right there in the sushi bar. I would suggest maki my reservations if you plan to go around dinner time though.

To be completely honest, we’ve only started eating sushi seven years ago. Don’t judge but I live with a picky eater. Then we discovered it one day and spicy mayo sauce and the rest was history. This place is the best for sushi! This is coming from two Queens New Yorkers. (We’ve tried a lot of places for sushi in NY city) When we moved upstate seven years ago we were desperate for a good place to eat. It took some time but we found it. Mr Sushi and Grill is always amazing and fresh! The food is priced right and service is fast.
We’ve taken everyone that comes for a visit to this place at least once. I always try to order something new while my picky eater hubby likes to stick to regular rolls like shrimp tampura, spicy tuna, spicy shrimp and Boston roll. He also likes to get the hibachi rice without the veggies. 😹I love their Dream Roll and spicy tuna roll. I’ve also tried their giant drink. I’m not sure what we had but it was big and I probably didn’t finish it all.

Love Mr Sushi! The sushi is so fresh and delicious. The hibachi is great as well. Never had a bad experience. The staff is also extremely nice!

The rolls are incredible!!
I have not had anything else here other than the rolls because they are so damn good.
The outside and inside isn't much to look at but don't judge a book by its cover.
The service is good to very good. Usually when I go they are sooo busy, it's a wonder the servers do as good as they do.

Delicious sushi!! My sister and her boyfriend live up in Middletown and this is our go to place when we visit! We were up for the week and one night we were all craving Chinese/Japanese and my sisters boyfriend suggested Mr. Sushi! We were instantly seated right away we didn’t have to wait!! They have a lot to choose from on their menu everything from sushi rolls, specialty sushi rolls, chicken and steak teriyaki and hibachi noodles!! The menu goes on!! My fiance and I ordered the sushi boat and it was delicious, the rolls were absolutely so tasty! My sister got the chicken teriyaki with hibachi noodles and she loved it! Their specialty alcoholic drinks are also delicious! And now they have a hibachi section which is also great because who doesn’t love hibachi!! I get the jumbo shrimp and swordfish! Yum yum! Mr. Sushi is great because they cater to everyone fish and non fish eaters! I do recommend calling ahead for a reservation for hibachi and dine in because they can get crowded!! 10/10 would recommend

Waitress was very nice and brought our food very fast. Prices are very good for the amount of food you get. The table we were sat at was very clean. Our waitress even asked if we had any allergies which was very kind. 😊

Always yummy and super fresh. There’s something. For the whole family on their menu. Love the assorted sashimi. Kids love all the crazy rolls and the hubby loves the teriyaki.

Love coming here everytime I come up for a visit. The service is always amazing. Our waiter was super up beat and very helpful. The food was so good and tasty as always. I am never disappointed when I come here and I plan to always come back every time I come up for a visit. Love this place

The crazy tuna roll was so good. The miso soup was very good, the tofu was so fresh and yummy. This place did not disappoint!!

I've been here so many times, and it's always great. The staff are attentive and friendly, and the food is fantastic.

The taste and portion wise are good in my opinion. I ordered Shrimp Tempura Roll and Seafood Yaki Soba and it was good. Handling by Leo.

The tuna was amazing as was the Chilean Seabass. Not a fan of the noodles for which I paid am extra $3.00 as I didn't want the rice.

Ordered take out and the food was sooo delicious! Best sushi in the area and great prices! Food was soo good that I forgot to even take a picture 🤣

Always a great experience here. Whether you prefer sushi or hibachi, everything is fresh and delicious. Brought 2 toddlers this time and the staff was very patient and accommodating. The kids even tried some sushi.
