Always love dropping in when I come to Carthage. Delicious food. Friendly staff that works cohesively and professionally to get your order fast. Great aura about the building. Even an outside dining area for those not so hot days of NC summer. Walking distance to court house and many businesses. Very busy but ample parking and staff so you are in and out. My wife was elated with her big fish sandwich but covered her face for that photo. I always love the homemade BBQ plate.

I ordered the Big Fish sandwich and it was absolutely colossal!! Fish is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside!!!! The best barbecue around....I love this place! You guys need to try it out. Down home, country cooked and friendly environment!

Made the ride down here just to give their hotdogs a try. Was not disappointed. Got two dogs all the way with fries. The dogs were basic, but had a great taste. Slaw and chili were nice toppings as well. The fries were lightly salted, just enough I didn't have to add anymore. Overall some of the better dogs I've had. Definitely worth the trip.

This place is not an expensive nice restaurant but it is a friendly nice restaurant. It's restricted and dining area are kept clean and stocked. All the staff and all the customers (for the most part) are ask friendly and helpful. This place has been here since my dad was a kid, although then it was in the other side of the road, and when i was a kid it wasn't an eat in place just a building with one window to walk up to and order and another window to pick up from. Now its upgraded and you can eat inside or outside. The prices are amazingly low especially costs to everywhere else. My household has 9 people and we can all order burgers/hotdogs , fries and a drink for under $45. And the food had tested the same as far back as i can remember. And it's pretty good. Its a small hometown kind of place to not only eat but to make memories, which i made with my grandpa and father and now with my own kids. Its nice to see and smell and go to somewhere familiar in a world that's constantly changing and new. To me, chuck wagon and Carthage go together and i don't think you can really think of Carthage as not having achuck wagon its been a part of the town so long it's definitely going to be sad if it ever goes anywhere

Took my client for lunch the food was fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming will be visiting again.

Great comfortable atmosphere for a country grill. Burgers and hotdogs, and the chuckwagon are what you should expect. Fresh ingredients, 👍 size patties, and the fries are really good. I saw someone getting a c h ef salad and was jealous.

The Chuck Wagon has the best hotdogs I ever ate in my life. My husband and I have retired back to my native Philippines, and the only thing I miss about America is the Chuck Wagon!

Amazing place the people are friendly learn this a young lady at that window with the most beautiful smile and she's getting ready to go to college to become a lawyer and I just wanted to say my interaction with her was amazing she is on her way continue to shine from the lady with the blue and brown eye💓💓💓💞

Food and Service were excellent. Customers children were running around, screaming and not being made to sit down and be quiet so others could enjoy their meal. That was the only negative. No fault of the restaurant. Inside is not a playground for children. The parents should have been more considerate of the other customers and ate outside.

Great food with large portions. I had the flounder plate. Others had the hotdogs. Strawberry shake was the bomb.

Best chuck wagon sandwich I have had in Moore County. Made just right. The fries was good. Couldn't taste no salt on them. Which is good. Sweet tea cool. Didn't taste like more sugar than tea. Loved it. Workers nice friendly. Seem like they care. Cash only old school as a worker said. Good place to eat.
