Steve's Pizza & Hot Subs

We usually get a pizza and wings. Deliciously prepared pizza, hot and fragrant with Italian spices and herbs. The wings were done just right, crunchy yet still moist, not dried out. It's a basic neighborhood place, clean and quiet. Nice folks, too.

The food and service was good. Nice staff. The menu has a variety of different types of food. Old school diner type vibe.

Great place all around. Had the house pizza. Best pizza ever. The tea is good too. I highly recommend Steve's.

If you’re lookin for the best sub you’ve ever had in your life, this is the place to go. I’ve been to quite a few sub joints and this tops them all! I really wasn’t expecting their Philly cheesesteak to be better than Hwy 55’s, but it was a no contest. I ended up having to take the other half of it home because the large combo is a more than decent serving. I would suggest putting their special sauce on your sub and their yum yum sauce on your fries. The special sauce kind of has a light horse radish taste and their yum yum sauce is like ketchup with a kick. I haven’t had their pizza yet, but I’ve heard it’s definitely worth it. The place seems personally owned and it’s a nice little place to sit down and have a meal with a friend. A cool thing to note is the fact that they offer a discount to anyone who works for the state! Give them a try, you won’t regret it! 5 star in my book!

The food is really very good. Fast service and welcoming staff. The Super Sub is fantastic, and the cookies were delicious.

5 of our group had dinner there tonight and the food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable! Best fried rice in town !!!Great service and great tea if your a tea drinker! We will definitely be back

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Steve's Famous Pizza and Hot Subs in Carthage, North Carolina, and it was an incredible experience! The restaurant's own parking lot made it convenient, and the attractive and clean ambiance added to the enjoyment.

Their diverse menu offers pizzas, subs, sandwiches, fried chicken, chicken wings, and don't miss out on their secret gem - the in-house made pot stickers and crab rangoons! The variety of made-in-house choices impressed me.

I tried their pizza, and the wonderfully chewy dough made it a delightful treat. Today, I had the teriyaki fried rice beef combination, which surpassed my expectations, even compared to other places I've tried it before. If only I lived closer, I'd frequent this restaurant more often.

The staff were all friendly, helpful, and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The use of high-quality ingredients and the family-run atmosphere added a personal touch to the restaurant.

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend making a detour to Steve's Famous Pizza and Hot Subs for a memorable and delicious meal!

Just moved to the area. Called in a to go order and it was ready within 10 mins. Steak sub was delicious! Great portion for the price. Best sweet tea I’ve had in a long time as well. It was my first time and can’t wait to try something else soon.

An amazing local dive definitely worth a stop. There isn't much they do not offer in terms of variety. Highly recommend.

First time and boy was it worth it. Best burger and fries I have had in a long time. Fries were nice and crispy. Nice to know you can still get that at mom and pop places locally as opposed to paying $20 for burger and fries at those big chain restaurants. I've driven by this place but this was the first time I've gone. I had the burger and the steak sandwich when they were both very good although I must say that the burger was by far the best thing. The prices are wonderful. Highly recommend it.

My son and I stopped in Saturday for lunch. I wanted to say as always the food was awesome. The ham and cheese sub is great and My son loves the shrimp, rice and yum yum sauce. The staff is great and offer a smile or a nod when you come in. I for one am glad to have them especially after work or after ball games. For some of you that may not know the history of the building it was an ice cream shop many many years ago, I think about that sometimes when I am in their eating. Take a moment come.in side. Enjoy the food and the people.

Always excellent food! I'm from up north so my expectations are high & Steve's meets them on quality, quantity & prices. Service here is very hospitable even when extremely busy due to such demand for their product. Keep up the excellent work & thank you.

Nothing fancy. But good quality fresh food from friendly people. Amazing so many food places just don't get this basic concept. My wife loves fries. Theirs' are crispy (on the outside) and very, very tasty. A big menu too!
