They do great work and charge a fair price. Spend more time here then I want sadly due to a rust bucket car that I have, but know the work is good worth the money.

The owner John Benn is a great representation of northern Maine's hospitality. He is a great down to earth honest auto repair shop. You won't go wrong in having work done there.

Beans came up with a reliable repair option for an old plow truck, worked out like a charm. Gotta love a good crafts Master!

As to Benn's - which is also (primarily, at one time) an auto parts junkyard - I've done business there for nearly 40 years with no complaints. John Benn is a third generation operator of this business, very well known in the automotive service trade here in southern Aroostook County, Maine.

So I took my GMC in to get a new (used) transmission put in and wow they did an excellent job I'm lost for words ,Benn auto is also very affordable I mean for me to get towed by them then get my ignition changed and to get a new (used) transmission put in for under $1,000 is freaking amazing ,yes you heard me right for under a thousand dollars ,by far the cheapest in town and they got the job done right the first time, thank you Benn auto ,I recommend anyone to go to them for a piece of mind on your wallet and they know what they are doing!
