Saco Valley Canoe

These guys are really great and the views while kayaking left me and my dad and my brother stunned they were extremely beautiful they also had a playful dog I forgot his name but the dog was really cute and nice. But all together we absolutely love the experience probably one of most funnest and most beautiful kayak trips in New Hampshire. 10 out of 10 👍 and highly recommend this place.

Always an excellent experience using Bond at Saco Valley Canoe! We use him every year we go and wouldn’t choose any other place. We went yesterday and brought our floating dock to try and paddle board. We rented three cooler tubes. Bond is always helpful and made sure we were safe and had us check in when we got to Canal Bridge. We decided to keep going to the Walkers Bridge. Bond periodically texted or called to have us check in to make sure we were good. He had us call when we seen the 10 marker sign and after we landed at Walkers Bridge he pulled up within minutes.
We have used Bond at Saco Valley Canoe since 2018 and it has always been an excellent experience! Thank you!!!!!

Everything was wonderful starting with making the reservation all the way to getting picked up and bright back to our car. You even waited for us before taking a van load of people, down to the river!

Both drivers we had were very friendly and personable and very helpful!

I went to the website to check out ATV rentals but then stumbled upon the Polaris Slingshot. After doing a little research on it to make sure I didn’t need a motorcycle endorsement (pro tip: you don’t in NH, you do in MA). I also wanted be sure I could drive it, it’s got pedals and a manual transmission, good to go.
Now, it’s been on my bucket list for the better part of a decade to rent a Can-Am Spider and ride the Kancamangus, but I never got my motorcycle endorsement, so I simply could not pass up the opportunity to do that with the Slingshot. I booked it the day before but the person who had entered the information made it for that day with my rental time already passed. I got a phone call within minutes to correct it. From booking to the return, the process was professional and service was outstanding. The staff showed us absolutely everything we needed to know and answered all of our questions about the machine. We rented the Slingshot for 4 hours which was perfect to ride the Kancamangus to Lincoln and back to Conway with a couple of scenic stops and not feel rushed. It was a dream come true, all 4 hours were exhilarating and fun, and the ride was absolutely beautiful. We even stopped for a photo op with a moose!
I can’t thank the staff of Saco Valley Canoe enough for their hospitality, we had an absolute blast.

My daughter and I had a gorgeous day on Conway Lake with a rental kayak for me and paddleboard for her. They were very accomodating with all our requests and the lake was so close. We spent all afternoon on the lake. We had a blast! Great to work with! Thank you.

We had a great day on the Saco thanks to Saco Valley Canoe. They were great! Because weather wasn’t so great Saturday, they let us change our date to Sunday! We all did tubes and they were great. Wicked comfortable! Bond and his special little family couldn’t have been more nice and accommodating! When we were through they were right there to pick us up! Will definitely go here next year!

We are currently under new management at Saco Valley Canoe. As we reflect on some of our reviews from last year, we can only take them in stride and move forward as a better business. Due to Covid, and our inability to find employees, we were certainly struggling. The two employees we did have worked very hard and went above and beyond the entire summer. We sincerely thank those that rented last year and were patient with us, we are immensely grateful that this year we have a very well rounded team. We hope you come back this summer and enjoy a river trip, or slingshot rental at SVC.

Wow after using a few spots in this area for renting tubes to go down the saco this place has been the most accommodating great prices an awesome customer service friendly staff we will definitely be making this our spot for out yearly Saco adventures must check it out

Went out on the river with friends in June and the Saco River was so relaxing! And not crowded at all which was a plus!! They got us to and from the river promptly which was so great!

The owner is an outstanding guy! I lost my sandals at a beach that we had stopped at and he went above and beyond to get them back. All around great time. Would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for a good time while in the area!

Top notch operation 🙌 We had so much fun on the river. It’s always smooth sailing through the whole booking and activity process. We’ve tried all the other companies and these guys are absolutely the best. They have a really nice fleet of Old Town canoes, stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, and tubes. The folks here are kind, professional, and organized! And they drop you off and pick you up for free! And they are DOG FRIENDLY with no extra fees! 🐕‍🦺 We will be back for sure!!

The staff was great. The tubes were nice and clean and the pickup and dropoff was efficient.

I had my first experience with kayaking on the river. The bumpy road was filled with great talk with the drivers. They aim to please and they don't miss. Take my advice and enjoy anything recommended by the staff if you can. Take pictures and don't drop things in the water 🌊 unless in a waterproof bag. The last sentence speaks of my personal loss. Vape pen and cartridge on the river bed. Still worth everything I lost that week!

We booked a canoe and two kayaks for 5 people on 08/01/2015. I called about a week before and the woman I spoke with couldn't have been more helpful. She talked me through pricing, trip times, transportation, and answered any questions I had (believe her name was Donna....thank you Donna). Driving to their location we passed Saco Bound which had a HUGE line out the door at 11AM.....when we arrived at Saco Valley there were a bunch of cars in the parking area but only a couple groups who just arrived and waiting to be transported. I checked us in, they discussed timing and pick up info, loaded the equipment and got us on the river within 30 minutes (10 min drive to the drop). On the pick up, it was extremely easy. They had a staffer waiting for us and when we asked if he needed help he said "no, thank you. You guys can just relax". The first van was full with a group of 12+ people that arrived just before us and it left within 5 minutes of us steppin on the river bank. Another van was there as soon as the other departed and we only waiting another 5-10 minutes for the last group.

In the end, I will DEFINITELY be using them again. The staff was extremely nice and made the whole process so easy. I'll recommend them to anyone looking to float, canoe, or kayak the Saco. A+ - 10/10 - two thumbs up

Bond is such a stand-up guy and I can't thank him enough for saving the day when Saco Bound pulled a last-minute cancelation on our honeymoon. Service with a smile. He personally brought my wife and I to our drop in location and then to our take out location to drop off our car. Went above and beyond to help us out in minutes notice so we could still enjoy our kayaking day. Thanks so much! Highly recommended.

My wife and I went camping in the area for our honeymoon and wanted to rent a slingshot to drive the Kanc with. We found this company and they were more then amazing. They rented us a sling shot late in the afternoon and told us to go out and have dinner even suggested some spots to eat and said we could bring it back whenever. They were so accommodating and amazing. If you are looking for an amazing company for a slingshot rental or tube rental this is your company!

We rented canoes from these people last year the experience was good. This year the experience was unbelievable and then rented the slingshot. OMG Great friendly people down to earth very honest can’t wait to come back next year to get a canoe and another slingshot. Jade and Bond you guys were great keep up the good work and good luck with the baby. 👍 👍
