Crazy Otto's Diner

This diner served me the best omelet I ever had. It was bacon and cheese. The bacon crumbles were almost an inch deep and spread the length of the eggs. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. The walls have "Best of" plaques dating back for years. My wife's Denver omelet was excellent as well. Don't miss a chance to eat here. You won't be disappointed.

Classic neighborhood diner. Portions were overwhelmingly generous - we were stuffed and had to take 1/3 home! Loved the hash browns crispy but moist. Ham steak amazing. Good coffee.

Love this place. Got the Chicken fried steak Said in the description that it was gigantic homemade chicken fried steak. I got it and was like "it looks kinda small" Looks are deceiving. When I was done with my Chicken fried steak I was STUFFED. Only finished a third of my hashbrowns and hadn't touched my biscuit and gravity and half my eggs. Everything was delicious.

Huge portions. The Machaca was cooked just the way I asked them to make it. Perfect.

The photos can not do a justice on how massive and incredible the plate of food is here! The portions of everything on the menu are catastrophic! Perfect for heavy eaters or if you want to share. Ingredients are substantially fresh and delicious! I am but a mere mortal who has never tasted such godly nectar! They also kept the cup of coffee full! The military tribute decor is a nice patriotic touch! EATING HERE IS A MUST!!!

I've been to Crazy Otto's quite a few times and everything was good. Stick with the American comfort classic dishes for the best favor and values.

On my last visit, I chose my favorite seat, a classic fifties-style car! It has an amazing view too!

I ordered the small prime rib dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy. I started with chicken noodle soup. My prime rib was tender and flavorful. It was an enormous portion of high quality ingredients and I was able to take another meal home.

I loved my meal, the view, the decorations, the smiles from the staff, servers and chefs and everything Crazy Otto's Diner does for others a lot. I gave this restaurant a gift of appreciation to show my gratitude and support for their contributions to their community, An American flag, a card of appreciation, a yellow ribbon and a patriotic pin to wear.

My friends and I are gifting American flags throughout the city from our neighbors to each other in honor of tolerance, our favorite thing the American flag represents and to show our support American soldiers and Veterans. It's my honor to recommend this restaurant to you.

The food is always delicious and plentiful. The servers are so attentive and nice. I like that they are dog friendly and my waiting time was not long. Love Crazy Otto's!

We went to brunch on 3-30-24 when a large portion of the AV had a power outage. They were slammed with extra guests. The service was still fast, pleasant & great food.

I'm really going to miss this place. Lived in the AV my whole life and am on my way to Florida soon. Even if you're just passing by, is new to the area, or haven't been here in a long time; please come here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This place is an institution to the Antelope Valley, it's basically a piece of regional history that you can eat a meal at. Portion sizes are HUGE, you'll never leave hungry and you're better off limiting yourself to half the meal and saving the other half to eat later. Although I would recommend dining on the weekdays for breakfast, I'll admit it's not always the best service when they're serving a full house, but I can always let that slide from here.

BEST HOT CHOCOLATE EVER. This is our new favorite spot around lancaster. We love their breakfast and the hot chocolate is the best i’ve ever had. Waiters and waitresses are always great

The portions are so large I typically share a breakfast with my wife but it's 'good and plenty' and has been for the many years I've been eating here I recommend it to all my friends and family!

I have gone to Crazy Otto’s since the early 70’s. The original one. The AV is my hometown
I came for a visit and naturally went for breakfast. I got the prime rib. My girlfriend got the chicken fried steak. The portions were huge. Everything was done perfectly
The service was amazing. The whole staff was impressive to watch. This place holds a world record for larger omelet.

The amount of food you get is insane!!!! It’s delicious and for a great price! This is unique cafe with quality/Efficient staff!!!! I make sure every time I come to visit my parents they take me to get breakfast here!

Delicious food in big enough portions where to go containers are not a doubt. Popular business so it does get busy quick but service is quick.

Just went for dinner.. wow. Didn't think I could get more impressed! My husband and I have been coming here for years and my father, since it opened! The prices have gone up BuT the portions have gotten bigger!!!! I didn't think that could happen! They now almost spill over the Huge plates!!
Walked in and were seated immediately by Clarissa, no haste in offering us and serving drinks exactly as ordered! While assisting other guests, she constantly was asking us if we'd like refills, extra napkins or how the food was. AND she was very helpful, also not innterruptive!! Sonia took and brought our order also checking in to see how we were. Love to the chefs too!! The food was made Exactly to order, HOT and DeLiCiOus!! Basically each omelet plate was enough for three meals!!
If you're in the av and are wondering what's a good, fast place with decent prices, incredible portions and amazing service and atmosphere..? Right here! No regrets ever!!! Anand we'll be back next week!! 💜💕

Favorite place to have breakfast. Their plates are huge so you might consider sharing. The staff are awesome and the atmosphere is great.

First time ive ever heard of this place and if i knew then what i know now i would've ordered the breakfast omelet. Cause not only was it the biggest ive ever seen but it looked sooo good. I got the steak it was also good. And the waitress was awesome she made sure you had what you needed to make your visit a good one
