Sgt. Steve Owen Memorial Park

This park has made several improvements over the last 3 years! It’s has a new play area for the kids! 5 baseball fields, 2 full basketball court, full tennis courts and volleyball.. This park has lots space to spread out and have a birthday party or fly a kite! During the week it’s very quite. The community really makes an efforts to keep it safe and clean for everyone to enjoy!

I believe on Mondays they have tons of food trucks lined up!

The tennis courts are very good for public courts and are well lite until 10 P.M. I am not sure why there was a need of an overhaul other than adding pickel ball!!

A huge community event to celebrate California's own poppies. This is where $6 buys you a hot dog and a bag of chips!
Come with family for a day to eat, support local business, greet cops and fire fighters, buy stuff you don't need 😊 and listen to music.

I love this park! I take my dog here. There is plenty of grass, shade and always clean. There is a nice little playground for the kiddo's. If there are baseball games there is usually a concession stand. I've never felt unsafe at this park.

I saw the memorial from the highway as I was driving and decided to stop. Very nice park. If I lived nearby, I’d visit more ofter. Beautiful horse memorial to a fallen officer.

It looks and appears to be a very nice place 😀. I saw squirrels running and playing, people walking dogs and a hole lot of kitty cats. Today it's cold and windy.

Overnight parking ok. Big lot. Rv parking across the street. Quiet. Lots of shade.

Always clean, bathrooms very well maintained, BEAUTIFUL fields of grass for my girls to enjoy, oh and very PET friendly.

The poppy festival was fantastic! Great selection of food! Great games for kids & entire family. Great shows & entertainment for everyone!

Clean, safe area, big playground, wide open grass areas, Working water fountains. What's not to love!

The annual Poppy Festival. Was a great time. Live concert. Shows. Dance group performed and a sea lion show which was fantastic.

Very large park with tennis courts, basketball, baseball fields and a large playground (newly updated) oh there's also it's dog friendly, picnic tables every where, and bathrooms too.

A great place to walk in the shade. A little bit of cool green in the middle of the city.

This park is has a great set up! Plenty of Fields as well as a great play area! During the summer they host several food trucks known as their Monday Bites event and that is definitely worth checking out! There is plenty of seating and bathrooms close the playground equipment.

The park is nice. There is a nice playground for kids, a couple of baseball fields, plenty if grassy areas to sit around in with trees for shade on those hot sunny days. There's a YMCA there and a rec center with ping pong. Oh and quite a few tennis courts. A volleyball court as well. The park seems well maintained and the police randomly come through so don't worry about your vehicles. The bathrooms are also taken care of, they are nice in terms of public park bathrooms in my opinion. All and all its a nice park to go to and just relax when the weather is right.

Now have you been and seen a park with so many people ? Well ,, yeah it's Mothers Day of course . This park is so amazing and beautiful and huge!! We came it to celebrate my moms special and thank her for putting up with me and my brother. And also my brothers jr bday . The park and so rounding s a blessing .
