Dare Devil's Pizzeria

Great all around. Very fast take-out, great location, and delicious home-made pizza. The wing Dar Devil sauce is very hot, but good flavor.

Last time we were here was 7 years ago and the service has since changed. You order at the counter after reviewing the menu at the table you choose to sit at. They will give you your drink in either a bottle or can. You have to get your own paper plates, plastic ware, straw, napkins, etc. The food came out in a timely manner and it was delicious! You clean off the table when done and place any pizza pans or stands in their designated place by the trash. Honestly, it's not bad. Things have changed for many businesses since COVID and Dare Devil's Pizzeria did what works best for them. It wasn't a bother at all to do what I could to help their business succeed. I hope it doesn't take another 7 years to visit again :)

My family enjoyed their dinner very much. This place is very neat & tidy. My pick up order was packaged very well and I really appreciate this kind of detail. We had 2 cheese pizzas, 2 orders of wings, & 2 orders of fries and everything was great. I loved their cheese pizza and the way it was cooked!! My only recommendation on behalf of my husband is a little bit more sauce on his hot wings.

The pizza was absolutely delicious!!! The pizza had so much flavor, good crust/dough, quality toppings and great sauce!!! As you can see the pic is not the best but this place is really fantastic! The service was quick we got ours take out. One of the best pizzas we’ve had in a long time!!

Dare Devils is one of my favorite places to eat in the OBX! The food is extremely delicious. We tend to order Stromboli or the Italian sub (hot).

The restaurant has made some changes (no longer full service), but given how difficult it is to find/keep good help everywhere you go the new setup works. You order at the counter and the food is brought out to you. Only negative I might have is that they no longer serve fountain sodas - they now have cans or bottles. However, if you drink water or tea (sweet and unsweetened available), there are unlimited refills.

The sauce used on the Stromboli and pizzas is very flavorful. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!

I love this place! The pizza is always delicious. I have been coming here for at least 15 years. It's one of my many stops every time we are in the area.

'Dare' you to try... a great experience. I pulled into OBX last evening and asked the front desk attendant at me resort to suggest a nearby place for good take out pizza. I ordered by phone. The order was accurate (the Dare Devil Special) and ready in 15 minutes. The crust was medium thickness, lightly crisped (the way I like it), sauce was tasty, and toppings were generous and fresh. I'll be back. I am short 2 pieces, though... I shared them with the front desk clerk who DARED me to try it. Repeat? YES!

Love coming back here every time we come back to the Outer Banks! The pizza crust is awesome and the toppings don't fall off easily. Highly recommend Dare Devil Pizza.

Homemade dough/crust was light and airy, had the perfect slight crunch on bottom, holds its form and toppings stay in. All topping were fresh and cooked through - I got a pepperoni, onion, and mushroom - it was a basic, homemade, Italian pie, thanks!

Came back to Dare Devils after 2 years and still stand by below review! Great pizza and great service. They updated to self service ordering and paying at the counter. This seems to work well and keeps the dining area free of congestion.

Really, really good pizza! Crust was perfectly done to our liking. Waitress was polite, fast and attentive. If it looks busy from the outside don't worry. We got seated quickly. I would order beer by the pitcher, mugs are smaller in size. Nothing like a fresh, hot pizza when hungry at the beach!

We come down 10-12 times a year for the past 5 years and finally found a great pizza joint! Super flavor from the toppings, tasty fresh sauce, send yummy bread. We'll be back.

Fast excellent pizza! Some of the best I've had in a while. Cheese was great, right amount of sauce, maybe a touch too much grease but the crust was delicious. Got to the crust part of each piece and a dip a ranch made it that much better. Was $18 for a large pie with extra cheese and half pepperoni on take during the Rona so not a bad deal. Fed my family of four so I'm happy. Kids thought it was much better than the average chain pizza.

We ordered the BBQ wings and pizza. Both were great! We would definitely recommend Dare Devil's Pizza.

This is a 30+ year old establishment. I know this because the owner told me so on my first visit. This review is about my second visit. We ordered two medium pizzas, one half peperoni half cheese and the other one was their all meats pizza. Can't remember exactly what they call it. All pizzas were well cooked and tasted very good. Service staff was courteous and attentive. Mind you that because of COVID their influx of exchange students who normally help out during summer are not being allowed in the country. Expect service to be a bit spread thin during the summer high season. Great place to dine in.

Best pizza I've eaten in OBX, and the salads were fresh and crisp.

Pizza was great! Crust had flavor and complimented the rest of the pizza. The fries were hot, crispy, and stayed perfect from start to finish. Service was quick and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back when I'm in the area! Come and eat! You'll see why this place has great reviews.

We came to Outerbanks and stopped for lunch at Dare Devil’s Pizzeria, pizza was delicious and customer service was great!!!

Pizza and cheese bread were delicious, it's order at the counter and small seating area but food was delivered promptly!
