Foundry Craft Grillery

Simply blown away by the outstanding service and delicious food. We had heard good things about The Foundry but hadn't made our way over to Elk Rapids in a while. The old fashioned was amazing and the chicken and waffles were some of the best I've ever had. My only regret was not trying this restaurant sooner. We will definitely be back, this is a new favorite of ours.

We ate here for the first time tonight on one of our many visits to the area. I wish we had known about this before! It was exquisite. We had the Fuji Apple Pork Ribeye, which was delicious—an excellent creation by the chef/chefs. The restaurant has a great vibe and decor. The service was exceptional. You left with a smile, not just because your meal and service were fantastic. The vibe leaves you smiling and planning your next visit. Which I've decided will be the day after tomorrow. I glanced at the neighboring diners' meals, and they looked just as delicious as ours, and they were silent as soon as their meals arrived. That told me a lot. If the food were mediocre they would have still been talking. It was all about the food.

I made the Margarita pizza vegan by asking to remove the cheese and add extra veggies. They did not disappoint!! I'm hoping to get this on the menu as a true vegan option ❤

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Foundry Craft Grillery in Elk Rapids, and I was absolutely blown away by the food and the service was great. Their menu offered a wide variety of dishes.

Our server was friendly and attentive, and made sure that we had everything we needed. He also gave us great recommendations to try.

Overall, our group of 9 had a great experience at Foundry Craft Grillery. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was spot on. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Elk Rapids. Looking forward to our next return.

Oh good lord, I had to unbutton my pants. From the stellar service to the ice cold beer to the great menu, this place is hitting on all cylinders. The grease monkey sandwich, the beer cheese sliders, and the fried asparagus are oh my God so delicious. Locally owned, and with fresh ingredients everything was delicious. No questions asked we will definitely return.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. All the food looked absolutely amazing, and the chicken and waffles were fantastic. I appreciated that our waiter kept our waters full, and recommeded some great food for us to try. Desserts was sooo good. This is a go-to if you ever visit Elk Rapids! It was only a short walk from the marina, so it worked perfect to come by boat.

Prompt service on the patio right after we were seated. Our waiter was patient as we made our decisions. For a cocktail, the Iron Knight was an excellent choice! With Iron Fish bourbon, lemon, strawberry and ginger beer it was a perfect balance of sweet and sour for a summer night.

Had dinner with family at the Foundry Craft Grillery in Elk Rapids. Food was delicious and our server was wonderful. They had a trivia night and we participated and it was fun. A great experience and looking forward to going back sometime soon 😊 my first time here. Yall made a great impression on me. Thanks

Great food, cool atmosphere, and excellent wait staff. Had high hopes that this new business would add a great dining option to Elk Rapids and we were not disappointed!

My burger was juicy and delicious and my wife’s Reuben was great. Also, some of the best fries I’ve ever had! Pricing is reasonable for the amount of food and the kids menu had a good number of options.

Probably the best overall dining experience we’ve had since COVID. Highly recommend!

My husband had the Sicilian Flatbread and I had Popeye’s Choice sandwich and both were very good! Fast service, brewery atmosphere, fun spot! Would definitely stop back!

Awesome atmosphere, bartenders, and a super good food. Visit when Ethan or Mimi are behind the bar and you won't regret it. The quesadilla is on the appetizer menu but add chips/fries and it's a great meal.

Super chill Monday afternoon, good music playing, cocktails were strong and food was delicious.
Service is even better. I recommend trying their cheese curds & Cali BLT

Excellent locally sourced food and great service in an elevated brewery atmosphere. Highly recommend. Cocktails were also great.

Stopped at Foundry while boating Lake Charlevoix and had excellent service and delicious food. View of marina and lake and great patio that made bringing our little dog in a bag easy. Thanks for a great meal!

Stopped on Saturday afternoon while shopping in Elk Rapids. The atmosphere is modern & inviting. We ordered chicken & waffles along with Popeye’s Choice—both were different choices for us & impressively delicious!

First experience at the Foundry was A+. They were in their soft opening phase and we're out of nearly all the standard alcohols but they did have a really nice Tenessee Rye whiskey. I highly recommend the Bronco burger with its' unique "mac n' cheese puck?" And for the legit thrill seekers the Nine Eleven wings are no joke. I tried the hot sauce and it is serious business... a mix of Carolina reaper and ghost peppers. The service was awesome and the chef came out to check on our meal. Great people, great atmosphere! Happy to have this new gem in downtown ER!

We found this place walking around downtown Elk Rapids, the food smelled great! We were quickly seated, and our server Gabe was quick to get our every ask. He specifically recommended the Garlic Cheese Curds and oh MY gosh, they were amazing! I ordered the Cali BLT and my husband the Fish Tacos both were great meals and we were happy with our experience.

My husband and I ended up in Elk Rapids on a whim from our visit to Traverse City and saw that Foundry recently opened and decided to give it a shot and I’m glad we did! Our server, Izzy, was a really sweet girl and very attentive. My husband got the Popeye (chicken was very flavorful) and I got the Grease Monkey (cherries and cheese were delicious together) and we got the (handmade) cheese curds to split. Everything came out quickly (3:30pm on a Sunday) and very hot. Great place to stop in Elk Rapids!

Was in town and looking for a place to eat. Definitely will be back again! Our server Gabe made sure we got everything we needed throughout our dinning, even during the busy hours. Great atmosphere, great food, and even better customer service!

All were tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and got the kitchen to swap the fried chicken breast with chicken tenders for my daughter, who appreciated it very much.
