Whiskeytown Barbecue

This was an incredible experience!!! The food was amazing, but the atmosphere was what sold it to me. This is not your usual BBQ establishment. This is a place where you can enjoy a great meal, have a nice glass or two, and relax to some older country music in a contemporary setting. I highly recommend visiting this place and bringing the entire family as this is a very family-friendly setting. Will be a returning customer.

Best barbecue in town! They have delicious tri-tip, sliders, and brisket burgers. They also have loaded baked potatoes, and the best tomahawks in town. They have steaks and ribs too. The owners are super nice and really care about their customers.

This is hands down my new favorite BBQ spot. The owners are wonderful people who care about providing excellent service. The steaks are amazing, the atmosphere is great and you always feel like you’re among friends. Highly recommend it. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing food, good prices, and a good atmosphere. Stopped in for the tail end of happy hour to try them out for the first time and got some beers, the tri tip nachos, and tri tip sliders. $4 draft beers is a super good deal and the Whiskeytown Brewing pilsner they have on tap was a perfect balance of not too hoppy and not too malty. For $10 each I expected tiny sliders and a little plate of nachos, but either one was easily enough for a whole meal. Tri tip was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. And the garlic bread they use as a bun for the sliders makes me want to come back tomorrow. Good thing there was enough for leftovers. Food is more than worth it even at regular price. Super glad this place opened up, we'll definitely be coming back

Dinner at Whiskeytown BBQ exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was beautiful, more akin to an upscale steakhouse. Help from the servers is prompt and frequent, and the portions are generous. I was also very pleased to see that the menu was almost entirely made up of beef, rather than the cheap cuts of pork that you typically find in a BBQ restaurant. The tri tip and beef ribs were perfectly seasoned and cooked. We used to go to Cattlemen’s, but not anymore. This place is our new favorite.

My 1st time trying this place on corner of Eureka Way and Buena Ventura near Grocery Outlet. All staff are very friendly and professional. Had the 12 oz brisket burger and Mac and Cheese, Which was great. They specialize in oak fired tri tip and gave me a sample with nice smoke. Hours are 4:00-9:00 Tuesday-Saturday and 11:00-7:00 for Sunday football. Happy hour is Tues- Friday 4:00-6:00

Whiskeytown Barbecue and the food was delicious. The service was very good and the staff very friendly. We will definitely return soon. If you enjoy barbecue this is the place to go.

Absolutely fantastic spot here in West Redding for Barbecue. Great staff, positive and upbeat. The food is great as well, now I'm just looking forward to the brewery being installed! Lucky to have such a great spot in the neighborhood.

Wow! Whiskeytown Barbecue has some of the best steak I've had anywhere. You can tell they are serving top quality meat and prepare it expertly. I love the cozy and rustic decorations and personal vibe. This place was much needed in West Redding, can't wait to watch it grow!

My husband and I had the brisket burger tonight and they were the best burgers we've had anywhere. The cowboy caviar is delicious and was complimentary. Our server Arianna was attentive and super sweet. We will definitely be going back!

Todays was our first time here. The tri tip was so moist and flavorful. . Brisket burger was excellent. Loved everything. Service was great. So affordable
