I was very happy with the service and repair on my dryer. He arrived quickly, had the problem diagnosed and repaired within a couple hours after my initial call. The cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company and would recommend them to anyone who needs help with an appliance.
Plus he’s just a nice person!!

This is my third time using this company for appliance repairs over a period of about 10 years. Every time the owner (Roel Mallares) showed up on time, and did a great job. Friendly and professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. I recommended him to 2 different friends, who have also liked his work. Not sure what I'd do if he closed his business!

Roel was extremely friendly and professional. He showed up on time and was able to fix our dryer quickly. He diagnosed the problem and had all the replacement parts already in his van. Definitely 2 thumbs up and I would recommend to anyone looking for help with a broken appliance 👍👍

Called these guys to see if they had a replacement burner for my oven, after another outfit said nobody would have it in stock. These guys did!
He took the part number down and called me back about 15 minutes later saying he had it, and waited for me to get there and pick it up before he went to his next service call.
The part was a bit higher than list price, but about the same as I could order it online for, with shipping.
Great service; I'll call these guys again.
Friendly and professional.

Have bought parts and had Roel come out and fix our gas range. He is very knowledgeable, punctual, and friendly. Everything he did, he told us up front. No surprises. He is the only repair shop I will use!

Very happy with the service I received from Alaskan Appliance Repair. Called a national company for service. They kept me on the phone for 10-20 minutes before finally informing me that they no longer provided service in my area. Next called a large Alaskan company. Told me the latest appointment I could schedule it was 1 in the afternoon. That would be a 1/2 day off work for me. Finally found Alaskan Appliance Repair. Owner Roel seemed ready to work very hard to accommodate my schedule, even willing to work weekends if he needed to in order to accommodate me. He showed up right at four and gave me a price that seemed very reasonable for both the service and the labor required to make the repair. If I need appliance repair of any kind in the future, there's no doubt for me who I'll call first.

Contacted them on a Sunday needing a part to fix my washer. Not only did he answer the phone but went out of his way to meet me at a park and ride to get the part to me. Very timely and I'm so appreciative he even answered the phone on a Sunday. Will use again for parts needs.

Good appliance repair outfits are hard to find and Palmer is blessed to have a great one. Roel is both competent and very personable. He's a hard worker and professional.

Paid this company $1500 to fix a commercial refrigerator in June 2022. I waited 8 months for the part to arrive. It never did. My landlord called and canceled the repair that I had scheduled and paid for. There was never any refund of money and it has now been over a year.

My fridge got fried during a power surge into our house. My normal repair guy was backed up so Roel got recommended to me by another Appliance repair company after calling around. Paid him over 1200$ and still no working fridge. Initially he said it was a fuse. He replaced the fuse, then it died again. He said we needed a new compressor (695$ for the compressor, 400$ for labor; don't forget the 90$ service call). Then that compressor blew. He said we could try replacing the circuit board and order a new compressor. Obviously I wasn't about to spend another 1200$+ on a fix that might not work. I get that fridges of today are much more complicated than our grandparents' lead lined fridges, but if you're going to ask your customers to spend 1200$ on a repair, then you better have the diagnostic competency to know if you can actually fix it or not. Seemed like he was flying blind and just trying random fixes and hoping for the best. 1200$ down the drain, fridge still dead, had to buy a brand new one from Lowes. He was professional and on time, but I would trade in those qualities and take a grumpy late guy for a working fridge after spending that much money.

Awful experience. Charges up front for part and labor for fridge plus a $90 house call. $730.95 total. Never got the part or for them to fix it. Never called us to update about anything. They do not return their phone calls. They lady the answers the phone is a joke and the repair guy is a swindler. They always had an excuse. When we finally asked for a refund, over a month later, the part was all of a sudden available. We said nevermind and to please refund everything but the $90 house call. They didn't. They made up some excuse how there were labor charges for the house call! He didn't do anything but look in the fridge and wipe out a drain plug. Do NOT use this business. I am taking this business to small claims court to collect my money. That's how ridiculous this is! I hope they had fun with my money because I lose a lot of money to take off work for the day to go to small claims court. I will also be asking for missed wages for my time that I'll have to spend begging a judge to give my money back. These people are scammers. BEWARE!!!!!
