The staff here are the most helpful, friendly, and patient post office employees that I have interacted with in the Berkeley/Oakland area. They took time on a busy Saturday to help me track down a package that had, unfortunately, gotten returned to the sender before I was scheduled to pick it up (that part is really frustrating, of course, but I appreciate the effort that they put into remedying the situation). I'll definitely be returning here to mail out packages in the future.

The lines are always a little bit long, but the center is always stocked with all the supplies I need. The employees are cool. I don't know why people are saying they are rude. The customers are usually giving them a hard time and they try really hard not to be rude back. Service jobs are tough. Parking sucks, though. I agree with that statement.

I like this post office. staff are great, and have had my post office box there for years.

There is a line of 4 customers infront of me but it took me less than 10 mins to be served. The lady staff is very efficient and helpful. Which makes the line moved smoothly and quickly. All the customers are courteous towards her too which tells me that they are regulars. For one customer who was there to mail a few packages, she told him that one of them is for UPS and he’s grateful to her to alerting him.
I’m so grateful that the staff treats me kindly and professionally and, most of all, she’s patient with me, not a hint of frustration even when I didn’t know how to fold the Priority Box.
It’s not easy working in the public service when we are rushing about our business and expect to receive service with a smile. I can’t ask for anything more than what I received today.

I agree with the other five stars. I have never had an unpleasant experience at this post office! Everyone I've interacted with there has been incredibly kind and helpful. We need USPS more than ever now. We should appreciate how much work goes into this thankless job. I think they're doing great. Thank you postal workers!

I just returned from the post office where 2 of the 3 computers were down, and the one that still worked was slow. Despite that, the clerks were efficient and patient and kind. This had a good effect on all of the customers waiting and we actually shared some laughter over little incidents that happened while we waited. I love the post office, I hope the US government does not kill it in order to completely privatize shipping like they are trying to do. Viva USPS!

There was only one person upfront today, and she did an amazing job multitasking and serving customers quickly and with great courtesy. I think her name is Day. Really great service!

Although they open at 830 and the lines are long at times, I haven't had a bad experience with the clerks and I've been going here for 13 years. Parking is a myth for the most part but that being said, all my experiences have been good.

Efficient local post office. Sometimes there’s a line due to understaffing but employees are all kind and easy to work with

I’ve never had any issues at this US Post Office; one has to be open-minded and understand that it’s a post office and understand what all comes with being at the post office. I’ve actually had better service here than at my local post office in Florida.

This has been my favorite usps location because of the staff. They always help me figure out the best/cheapest option. Line can be long with covid but overall, I’ve not had a bad experience.

I've had packages held here several times, and I've also come to them to ship stuff. I walk from my house because parking always sucks in this area. I don't have any complaints with the staff, despite the long lines and lack of resources they have.

I am giving five stars to the employees at the Oakland, Temescal branch who continuously show up, smile, serve the people given the circumstances. Every person who works at the counter deserves a raise.

ONLY ONE STAR for the US POSTAL SERVICE who understaffs, undervalues their staff and underserves the community at this branch. Get it together USPS. I mean seriously.

been coming to this post office for over a year and have never waited more than five minutes. the clerks are always very friendly and helpful. never thought I'd say this but I actually look forward to going here!

I have Box here the staff are friendly and helpful but nowadays they open late 8:30 am in the morning.

I suggest to open 7:30 am or at least 8:00 am the the people going work can check their Boxes early in the morning
