Calvary Baptist Church

This church opened up their parking lot to RVers for FREE during the eclipse. We drove up from Kentucky, and they were the most hospitable people; super nice, welcoming, and had many things thought out ahead of time (brand new porta-potties, bottled water, a NPS ranger to give education on the eclipse, etc). We were able to camp there for two nights, again for free. They did all this for people they didn't know. I imagine it is the same thing on Sunday during their worship. If we are ever up in the Indy area on a Sunday, we will definitely come back to worship here. They know how to show the love of Jesus to people.

Calvary is located in a fantastic place. The church family is so loving and kind. It has a wonderful youth and children's program. The choir is fantastic and they have a great pastor. It also has the best pitch in dinners, complimenting the wonderful cooks our church has. It's an exciting church to come grow with.

What a great group of people. There is a wide range of ages of people here, so no mater where you are in life you will have someone you can relate to. They make Christ the center of there services, and their lives and teach what the bible says about our lives today. Thanks Pastor Dave and Paul for your leadership in this congregation. My you continue to be a blessing to your neighborhood and may your light continue to shine to the whole world.

Very welcoming congregation! Pastor Dave preaches right from the Bible and is so passionate in his sermons. Great kids ministry. Great church and loving community of people.

Calvary Baptist Church is, and has been, my family for several years. Our church is made up of diverse individuals from all walks of life and nationalities with the common bond of wanting to come together to pray, learn more about God and His word, and fellowship.

I've grown a lot in my faith through listening to Pastor Ernie James sermons. He preaches the true gospel of Christ in a compelling and a convicting way. He is a pastor that truly cares and looks after his flock representing the example of Christ and doesn't compromise the word of God. I encourage anyone looking for a home church to visit Calvary Baptist!

Jesus centered, Bible centered church. Very welcoming group with a clear message, the gospel. Pastor Dave is clear, easy to follow, and gets to the point. This church has a clear direction and is very welcoming to newcomers.
