The worker was very friendly and knowledgeable. The selection wasn't huge, but I found some wool that would work well enough.

I LOVE this shop. I’ve been a customer for maybe a yearish. Marcy is extremely knowledgeable and always takes her time and makes sure to thoroughly answer any of my questions. There’s a nice selection of yarns and if you see something that isn’t available she’s more than willing to order anything that she doesn’t have in stock. I love the Friday night knitting group (just a handful of people that come in to knit and chat/build community). 100% would recommend to anyone and everyone in need of anything yarn related.

I had such a blast shopping here! The owner was so very knowledgeable, helpful, and fun to talk to! There was such a variety of yarns and other little crafty things, that you can definitely find what you're looking for and then some. I also really love that they have a generous points system which is not something I have found at other local stores. Definitely my new go-to for fiber art supplies.

Marcy (the owner) is helpful and willing to work with folks to get exactly what they need for their next project. She's also willing to help with knit and crochet questions and offers classes for those who want to learn. All the yarn is beautiful and she does a great job having regular stock and bringing in new items.

I ventured into the NEW Knittery today which is so close to my house. What a nice surprise awaited me. The store is an updated style, with lots of choice in yarns. The owner Marcy greeted me and was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had several yarn selections that I want to try and lots of patterns. The samples around the store are nicely done and displayed. So fun to be introduced to a "new" place to hang and knit. So... right near Starbucks and a place to knit in a warm friendly atmosphere. WHAT'S NOT TO LOVE???

I called and asked for help about a knitting dilemna. Sheila suggested to come in. When I arrived, the place was abuzz as there was a Saturday workshop amidst customers. Nicole took the time to patiently help me for about 50 minutes! She taught me how to correct my error and was so affirming and instructional at the same time. All the different staff at The New Knittery continues to amaze me and inspire me to continue to enjoy and get better at my knitting! Big heartfelt Thank Yous! I’ll be back to support your store!

This place was so wonderful. Small, but packs a punch with incredible yarns and supplies. Local yarns, too, and tatting! The woman who welcomed me in was so friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer. I would be there all the time. A must stop.

Absolutely going to be my favorite LYS. My husband and I came here today for the 2022 Yarn Crawl and Marcy was so awesome and excited to help us out. She’s got a lot of everything and three different yarn group meet-up times for people who want to come hangout. Very clean shop, good lighting (white bathroom light flickers so be careful if you’ve got light triggered epilepsy), and it’s accessible for wheelchair or cane.

Marcy also helped me order a pattern for my Ravelry account even though I wasn’t sure what email was attached to it and it worked! Thank you so much, we can’t wait to come back.

What a wonderful space! The owner Marcy was incredibly helpful and never pressured me to buy anything. She answered all of my questions and offered affordable options with all the items I was looking for. There is a nice open space to sit and knit and she offered assistance on projects I am working on if I run into any problems. I look forward to my next visit. You should check out this space. You won’t regret it!

We stopped in last weekend to pick up a holiday gift and Marcy was so helpful! It's an adorable shop, I would highly recommend stopping by! Can't wait to gift the yarn I picked up to my sister-in-love.

I was very impressed with the service at the shop, after I purchased my sock yarn I had to rush out to my car to get on a zoom meeting. She kept my yarn in their wound it brought it out to my car for me with an envelope with money in it. Apparently they were having a sale that she had forgotten about when she rang it up and I didn’t even know about.

the store had its soft grand opening while I was there. the inventory was limited but they are getting in beautiful things and upgrading the whole store. i sat and knit for a hour while i had my lunch hour and everyone was do friendly and inviting. I live in edmonds so I cannot come on a regular basis but I would definitely encourage anyone in the renton area to support this small business, you will be very happy for doing so.

I have visited the shop several times and every time has been great. Beautiful yarns. Super helpful staff. The owner, Win, seems to be a wondrously knowledgeable person and has taken time to chat with me and I can proudly claim this as my LYS :)

This is a small shop, but the owner and staff are very helpful with knitting questions/problems and are willing to work with you if they don't carry the yarn you want. I have moved away and sorely miss not being able to stop by. Definitely my go-to knitting store!

I am here several times a week. Love love love the conversations, ladies that run the place and their samples. I'm ALWAYS motivated and excited. Diana is so crafty and knows all and she encourages all, including me, to try to make any item we love. Currently, I'm making three pairs of socks and one is of lace in periwinkle. Just finished a mohair stole to wear to my Flamenco or symphony events. In addition, I've started another mohair article but a cardigan. Between college breaks and life...this is my peace and go to for nice company. Been coming for over 5 years.
