I have a 2009 Forester XT and my most recent visit was due to a self-inflicted issue, really medley of issues, due to misplaced overconfidence in my car mechanic skills. Josh said he'd get my car diagnosed right away and after fixing the surface level issue, which was my car not starting, his team did a full inspection and realized there were additional issues, which didn't surprise me (don't jack your engine up via the oil pan, it's a real bad idea). Communication from Josh was excellent and truly appreciated, because I thought I killed my car, and I REALLY like my car.

When I say additional issues, I don't mean the kind you are told about when you're getting an oil change somewhere and being upsold on air filters and lightbulbs. Josh and his techs are very thorough and notate everything they find that is a serious or potential issue, and it's up to the customer on how they want to proceed. Which yes, should be expected. However, I appreciate that level of thoroughness and integrity. Also, just the ability to work with me and my budget, but still keeping it real with what issues should be addressed sooner rather than later and always being informative.

Speaking of budgets, you will pay a premium rate at Arcflash, but it's because you will always have premium-level work done on your car. As someone who wants their car to run as long as possible, it's worth the peace of mind to me knowing that whatever work on my car that was done by Arcflash, I won't need to worry about because they get it right the first time.

Wanted to take my Rx7 in for a quick base line power check. These guys fit me right in! Super nice and diligent. They had the car strapped up ready to go before I even knew it. Great experience! I will definitely be back once I change a few things. Everyone I have talked to and kinda sent, have had a similar experience. Great job guys, keep it up! I'll be back when my tune is dialed in a bit more. :)

Arc Flash got me in very quickly to tune my Focus RS. They were professional and informative and did a great job tuning the car. When I got the car back the steering wheel and seat were where they should be. I really appreciated their communication and respect.

This place was recommended by a local tire shop as well as a suspension manufacture in Portland. Took my Subaru there and they did a great job on my suspension upgrade. Highly recommend!

Arcflash is always willing to comb over my car when I start having issues (perks of owning an STI-swapped Impreza). They always make an effort to squeeze me in and make me feel like a valued customer. This is easily my #1 shop of choice and will continue to bring my RSTI into them!!

Arc Flash will take proper care of you! Josh and Alex make an extremely capable team, able to tackle almost any automotive need. They were able to solve a nightmare oil leak which had already costed me thousands, in minutes. They also helped me understand a wastegate duty cycle issue via data logging on the accessport. Professionals.
