US Post Office

The lady that was there today was very courteous and helpful . Today is Monday,February 12 , 2024 , I went there at 10 am. She was very busy but managed to stay pleasant and helpful.

After seeing all the bad OLD reviews, I had to give a good one for the north Dan's. There's one gal that seems to always be on duty, who is extremely competent & quick to give you all your options. When she has someone helping her, they're not as fast perhaps, but seem well trained. Usually, any delays are customer caused.

Excellent experience and customer service from Logan. He was friendly and even taped up the package when many other USPS locations make you buy tape.
And this was all only 15 mins before closing time. Would recommend 10/10.

A kiosk inside the supermarket to the left. The lady kept rolling her eyes and shaking her head while applying the postage to my package - I get it, I didn't do a great job writing the address on there and didn't leave a lot of room for all your stickers. How was I supposed to know there would be that many? You don't have to be rude about it. Bottom line it saved me a trip downtown to the actual post office and the lady was polite despite the rude body language.

So slow it’s painful. Hire more help at least

Do not underestimate the incompetence of our government, getting passports is a horribly terrible experience and the employees have no sense of customer service.

The clerk that was at the post office did not greet me. I had to ask her were they open for her to service me. She stepped over to the counter and told me they can’t scan QRS codes nor print labels. I could not return my shoes and the other locations are closed for the day. Overall, terrible experience and terrible customer service.

After encountering painfully incompetent postal trained staff at Dan's on Turnpike, I was directed to this location in order to be able to send a package with the amount of insurance that I required. I was assured, after 15-20 wasted minutes and multiple management consultations, that this location would be able to process my mail with the options that I needed properly. Not so.

After five to ten minutes waiting in line, and telling the poorly trained individual at the counter precisely what I needed, he started tapping on his terminal. I noticed that the service I requested was clearly posted as an available service at this location behind him on the wall, during another ten plus minutes of searching for objects to stare at. Finally, he informed me that he didn't know what he was doing, that he had never provided the service that I'd requested for a package before, and that someone who was 'full-time' at that position would be available in the morning. Between the two stores I had close to an hour burned when I am sick and severely overloaded with tasks requiring my attention that will have very serious negative outcomes if I can't get them completed in a timely fashion. Long story short, my time is valuable to me. Unfortunately, it seems that at Dan's, if you're expecting somebody that is properly trained for the duties of the position that they hold, your expectations are way too high. I will not be frequenting the Dan's SuperMarket chain again while I live in this city.

Went to send a parcel overseas and the lady there said "I don't know how to do international postage". I asked "This USPS doesn't do international postage?" she says "It does but I don't know how to do it". I ask "Is there someone else here who can?", she says "No it's just me and I don't feel comfortable doing it". Despite the fact that I saw another staff member working with her, only a minute ago, who had just gone inside.
Now would be a good time to also mention that I'm a person of colour.

Not once but twice now they keep messing up our delveries. The first time we had to go pick it up at the post office because the delivery driver was too lazy to even try and deliver it and the second time they dropped it off at the wrong mailbox, it's not that hard to read the numbers on the mailbox and your job in general isn't hard at all. Too bad management is just as lazy as the driver's worse USPS nothing but lazy people who hate their jobs

Been waiting on a package i ordered over 2 weeks ago, one item in my package was missing and the item the was missing was written on our package with all the details about it. We contacted the people we bought from and were willing to ship out another of what we were missing and the package was arriving on Saturday, package says it has been delivered to our mailbox but it has not been delivered. I'm extremely livid because everytime we have packages that go through USPS, we never get everything we ordered or we don't get it at all. And when I've contacted USPS about the issues they just argued with me rather than trying to help me figure out what's going on with my packages. Wouldn't even give you one star but i had to in order to post a review. 🤷

Hate when amazon uses USPS, our delivery person is always crabby and just drops things on stairs up to house, if you get them to deliver the item at all. Definitely not like the great job Fedex and UPS does, just dread when Amazon uses the postal service. Please post office person, If you don’t like your job please go and find another.

This is the second time i have ran into this issue with this particular locations. Came in last night 20 minutes before 6 pm and they had closed early even though their posted hours show them open till 6 pm.

Slowest service. Even with more than 1 person working, you'll wait and wait. Have tried this spot several times and it's always the same, no matter the time either.

Very slow! And she is not nice.

slow service. prepare to wait 6' apart for 15 minutes if there's one person in front of you....
