Beacon Creamery

If you're in Beacon and want to get ice cream, you cannot go wrong with this place. The ice cream is delicious and the employees are so wonderfully nice and hospitable.

We stopped by after a hike in Beacon state park and this was the perfect treat afterwards.
The ice cream is nice and creamy, not to sweet, but sweet enough and with the abundance of flavours you'll find yourself coming back for more to try next time.
We had the dulche de leche which was amazing, with proper caramel too.
The portions are generous for $6 you get 1 scoop and for 2 scoops is $8.

Delicious ice cream! Loved the Champagne alcohol infused ice cream. Cheerful, helpful owners. Their homemade tomato bisque soup was perfect! Buy one get one free!

Super friendly staff and so many fun flavors to choose from. I got the chai and salted caramel pretzel. It was soooo good! I can’t wait to go back!

The ice cream is delicious and very fresh. They have a wide selection of flavors that alternate frequently, including unique flavors like gingersnap around Christmas, pumpkin in fall, and of course lots of summery flavors. The chocolate dipped waffle bowls are also amazing. The staff a few years ago gave very small scoops for the expensive price, but the last several times I've been, they have been very nice and given generously sized scoops!

I came here during my Yelp Elite event. The machine malfunctioned during the time I stopped by, but I waited for it to be repaired (I love ice cream, I will wait eternity for it). Given the wait, they actually allowed me to pick any flavor from the containers, rather than the self serve and gave me a small cup. I appreciated it very much. The staff was very warm and welcoming. I chose coconut almond, as I wanted to try something different. It was FIRE. It blended perfectly and I couldn't believe (I could) how great it tasted. I would definitely come back. After hearing about Beacon Creamery for more than two years, my schedule finally meshed with Beacon Creamery's to visit. All the wonderful compliments about this establishment are most deserving. In addition to seeing some cool and unusual flavors (I had the Chai ice cream, which was amazingly delicious), service with a smile is very much the standard here. Hopefully, my schedule and Beacon Creamery's shall mesh again in less than two years.

Went there with my mother, sister, & niece's. The different kinds of ice cream we got tasted absolutely delicious! The people who work there did a wonderful job, & were very respectful all the way through. Nice as ever. If we are in the area again we would love to go back.

Its like one of the first shops you see when you enter main street. Its first of my favorite places to take my girl, she actually likes it a lot. Funny, I was asking her if she wanted to go to an ice cream shop that was a little more local than this shop but she mentioned this one instead. Anyway I had to pick her up from the train and I took her there and of course she was excited.

The ice cream was so delicious! There was a large variety of flavors and a lot of unique ones outside of your typical vanilla, chocolate, etc. Pricing is fair and the portion sizes were extremely generous! Will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

Genuinely wonderful ice cream! I’m not an ice cream connoisseur by any means but the mango sorbet was one of, if not the, best sorbet I have had. Their portions are very reasonable too. Will definitely visit if I am in Beacon again

They own 2 stores and make all their ice cream from scratch. They are family owned and managed. Quaint little store (no tables inside) but they have a cute covered outdoor area with picnic tables. My girlfriend had a double scoop cone on a cup (because it's large and prone to tipping over, and I had a large chocolate malt. A little on the expensive side, but worth every penny!

Stopped here today after dropping someone off at train station. Nice selection of ice cream flavors. Scoops are big, so typically one scoop is enough. Both Chocolate and Strawberry were very good!

Always excellent tasting ice cream in an adorable, small, family run ice cream parlor. There is seating outside, and there is a view of the sunset when you go in the evening. Watch the hours of operation though; it changes seasonally. Best to call ahead if you are taking a trip there to make sure they are open.
