Awesome little gem!
Great environment and unique decor.
There’s lots of seating options and seating areas- from the large table, to individual chairs, the bench, outside and the bar.
The have 3 more private areas if you need to get done with done and even a private room it says you can reserve (not sure on cost of that)
The latte I got was tasty, though it was night so I got decaf and it wasn’t spectacular.
My wife got the Lavender Vanilla latte and said it’s the best she’s ever had (it was quite tasty!
It was very clean.

I recommend checking out this place.

My only complaint is the high cost of the drinks.

I’m always in search of independent coffee shops because I feel like the intentions are often so pure. This place is exactly that.
In a deep pool Starbucks, they stand out the perfect gem ✨ a great coffee shop with incredibly tasteful decor.
Bonus the coffee shop feels so comfortable that you just want to spend the day there. I spent a few hours there in an open space and then I reserved a quiet to host a virtual meeting.
I love that you have the freedom to reserve the quiet spaces away from the music and noise of the coffee shop. They even have a cute preservable meeting room that has a monitor & etc.
I appreciate that the Internet was very strong might be a silly thing to some, but often I find in public spaces it’s hard to host meetings without connection issues.
I had a delicious iced chai with oat milk, then a glass of Prosecco. Did I mention that they have a full bar too?
This is the perfect spot to host any sort of group, gatherings, or meetups and because of the style of the place also perfect to capture clips or pics for social. The staff was very pleasant and engaging as well as the other patrons. The fun thing about places that have great energy is that they typically draw other people with equally great energy making it a really cozy environment.
Total Bonus-even the bathrooms are cute and clean!!
Thanks for being so intentional with this coffee shop! I don’t live nearby, but I will be back anytime in the area

Cute, chic, clean, quiet, friendly and delicious iced oatmilk lattes. It offers study booths/rooms available for fee and I also noticed they have local art. I def recommend.

I was looking for another cafe option that wasn't Starbucks or Dunkin.

The location has plenty of parking.

There's only pastry options, but I love that they have macarons. I was curious about their wine and charcuterie though.

There's a variety of drink options and you're able to customize a drink with the products they have.

I ordered the Blue Matcha Iced. It's truly premium and not earthy tasting as regular matcha. I also had a custom order made for a friend.

Service was great! Super nice, friendly, answered all my questions! ☆

Adorable little coffee shop! Comfortable seating, private study and meeting areas, friendly service, and good pastries! Coffee has a strong nutty flavor.

Reasonably priced excellent coffee! The coffee beans are top notch and has real flavor profile. I ordered Americano without sugar and milk, and you can actually taste the flavor notes! Would recommend if you’re at Mount Holly area. Much better than Starbucks.

Ordered a drink off the seasonal menu: The Ube Matcha Latte (iced with whole milk). It was amazing. Great flavor, not too sweet. Perfect drink for this weather.
The staff were so kind and made my drink so fast I didn’t even notice it was done!
The inside of the cafe was beautiful and seemed like a great place to just hang out for a while.
Will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

What an incredible place to have so close to Mount Holly! The coffee and cake pops are great! A must get drink is the frozen hot chocolate. I saw 2 other people get it before me and decided “why not?” Tasted just like an espresso martini without the alcohol! This is a perfect location for parents dropping off their kids at Romp n’ Roll or just hanging out and working or chatting. The owner was wonderful and so helpful with explaining all the different drinks to her customers. 5 stars all around!

Beautiful place, I loved the aesthetic & the coffee was amazing! I got the salted caramel iced latte it was 10/10! I went with 2 friends & we sat in the back reserved room, it was perfect to just hang out & talk for a bit & not disturb anyone else! Will definitely return soon :)

Delicious coffee! The barista was so kind and worked the whole time my husband and I sat and enjoyed our coffee. When he wasn’t making drinks, he stayed busy cleaning or doing other things around the shop. The owner is blessed to have such a hard worker that respects his job so much!

STUNNING. Everything about Wake Coffee Co. is exactly that! The owners are truly passionate and it shows in the drinks they create all the way to the design of the bathroom (tiger wall paper? Yes, please!).

Our first time in was in the evening so we wanted to try their cocktails. Inventive and well executed we ordered the Orange Dreamsicle and the Dark and Stormy, both were refreshing and picturesque! They are very much a family-owned establishment and one of the owners made our drinks! The conversation and atmosphere will keep us going back!

The next morning we decided we needed to try their coffee to give a really in depth review. We both got the Honey Bee Latte but tried it iced and hot. Both were phenomenal! They also have boba tea on their menu which is so hard to find outside of the city! That’s up next on my list of things to try.

They have areas you can set up your laptop and work from, an area for small meetings, comfortable couches, locally sourced wood tables, and some outdoor seating as well!

TLDR; Whether you just need a good drink or somewhere to get some work done during the week - give Wake Coffee Co a shot!

The kind barista allowed us to use a private, cozy room to accommodate our need for privacy. Very thoughtful and helpful. Pleasant experience.
There is also public tables and comfortable small tables for those just hanging out.
My first experience there. Live out of town. Unique flavors for hot espresso/coffee. I recommend

my new favorite coffee shop. I had the crème brûlée latte with oat milk and it was amazing. They have other great seasonal flavors as well, and a ton of sugar free syrup options. The inside is cute and the layout is really good. I brought my laptop and worked here for a few hours, it’s a really good atmosphere for that, quiet but still has music playing. They also have a small conference room and more quiet laptop spaces that you can reserve/rent.

This is a great coffee shop, and our server Amber was awesome! They have everything from specialty espresso drinks to cold brew and boba tea. They have a good selection of baked goods to snack on. It's also a cute spot to get an adult beverage (they have wine, beer and cocktails). I definitely recommend this spot for either coffee and/or a drink after work.

My favorite getaway for a delicious crafted coffee or a nice place to work! Ambers cocktails, catering, and coffee is one of kind and so delicious. Her charcuterie boards are a work of art. Her coffee is by far better than starbucks ! This place is also a boujee and top notch venue to host your intimate gathering or party . Makes for a beautiful backdrop for photo ops! The cutest coffee shop in town beautifully and thoughtfully designed in and out ! From coffee to setting its a total vibe at Wake with 5 star customer service.

Met the Owner and she has such the sweetest personality! Customer service was great and so was the Pink Tiger Boba Tea we bought! Great location to chill out at with Wi-Fi and to just wine down with friends. Try this place out!

An absolute gem! Came here 3/3 mornings while visiting the area. The lattes are incredible and the pastries and bagels hit the spot. Can’t wait to come back!

Love Wake Coffee!! Both hot and cold beverages, they've got you covered! Everything I've had has been awesome, and don't forget to try the macaroons and boba beverages! ❤ The atmosphere is upscale yet relaxed, and friendly. Such an excellent addition to our area! A must try, you won't be disappointed!

I have been probably in 20 or more coffee shop in NC between Greensboro and Charlotte area and also a coffee knowledgeable person, having said that, I went to Wake Coffee yesterday and I was impressed with the barista,, please forgive me because I forgot her name, a very young lady that made me a Cappuccino very very good!!!! Excellent service, well presented and delicious. Also Met Tad, owner and we had a very nice chat. I’m highly recommend this place. Lastly, the place includes the bathroom was impeccable.

Best coffee in Charlotte. The place is so cute and the staff is super friendly! They have cocktails as well which is always a plus. 10/10
