What a great place. Easy to park right outside. The beers (I drank the porters) were very good. The food recs (jalapenos poppers and pork tacos) were excellent. The service was great - very nice and friendly. I bought a hat and 4 pack of beer to go I was so impressed. I will be back for sure in the future.

Cool place to reach ... a big hangar full of great and diverse craft beer, tasty food and good service. The outside garden tables i was not able to use, but with a connection to street tree-lights it looked very well. As a Czech beer-guy i would recommend this place to visit :). Visited 4/2024

We had a birthday party with 40 guests in the front private room and everything was outstanding. Service was quick and friendly, and food came out fast and delicious. Fantastic atmosphere and staff!

My server was also the bartender so even though he was incharge of the whole restaurant, he was attentive and kind. He suggested to try any of the burgers so I got the classic burger which was a great choice! The food came out hot and it was so delicious. I will be back when I'm in the area.

Great place with a great atmosphere. The food is phenomenal. I got the worlds best chicken tenders and they really are delicious. A little small on the portion size but I was still plenty full. Service was also great, they have great teamwork and good attitude. Overall a great place to spend hard earned money.

Food was amazing!!! We had the blooming onion, loaded chips , quesadilla and chicken and fries, the blooming onion wasnt greasy at all and thats a hard thing to find, it was perfect!!! Will definitely be back

Today was our first time at Traust in a few years. We ate here a couple of years ago and the food was underwhelming (beer has always been good). However, today we had an entirely different experience; the food was AWESOME. We got the dragonslayer burger and the Philly cheese steak with fries. They were both really good! I also got the Boots IPA and it was great as well. We will definitely be back again soon!

Best burger in Gaston Co.! (Not even close). If you’re a Hazy fan, get the Boots IPA with a burger.

Awesome brewery and restaurant! We showed up for brunch and everything was sensational. Quick service with a friendly greeting and we were seated right away. The brunch drinks were tasty, with a spicy-spicy Bloody Maria (tequila instead of vodka) and plenty of mimosa options to quench your thirst. Their brunch menu items were super savory. All in all we definitely had a 5-Star experience here and will be coming back again! Special thanks to @Offline for putting together this special brunch event!

Their team that tackles events is something special, I needed a big birthday party. They just loved our event from start to finish, and put in extra effort that I feel like most venues would just steer clear of. Then I committed a major goof on the day of, and everything was still flawless & the staff was super positive. It's rare to see a place so customer focused

Was visiting the area and ran across this location and decided to have lunch with my wife. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. It was very clean and really enjoyed ourselves.

This place is huge, the atmosphere is so cool!! Cinnamon pretzel and totchos were delicious!!! Not a fan of the Buffalo chips (really wanted to like them) our server was really great and we happened to go on music bingo night, so much fun!!

Relaxed, casual atmosphere. On Main St in Mt Holly, NC. Food was excellent. First pic is tot-chos appetizer, second pic is Cuban sandwich, third pic is bacon cheddar BBQ burger. Server was friendly and attentive. Recommend!

Our server (I dont remember her name 😕 she was wearing blue leggings and had cute glasses) was awesome she was so nice and took time to answer questions about the menu and provide suggestions. The food was great! I had the Dragon Slayer burger with loaded tots (obviously that new years resolution didn't stick-thankfully) and my boyfriend had the chicken tenders and fries. The fries were seasoned and had the perfect crispness to them, the tenders are hand battered and "were solid," also props for having great ranch that's not too dilly/dill-y/dill-ish? My boyfriend isn't a beer drinker (What the heck? I know, right? But he makes up for it in many other ways) so he had a diet coke. I am an IPA drinker- it's genetic, so naturally I was checking out the IPAs. It was between the Humulo and the Luminous. I noticed the Lumionous only had 11 IBUs. I prefer my IPAs to taste like IPAs so I went for a pint of the Humulo. It was a great west coast style IPA clean and citrusy. I ended up having to try the Luminous anyway, I ordered a 4oz pour and I'm glad I did, I like it when I'm pleasantly surprised by a beer. It would be a great Summer IPA, it was hazy and light. We live 40 mins from here but we will definitely be back! Thanks for an unusually awesome Thursday night Traust and lady in the blue leggings! 😃

Can't believe a viking brewery has such amazing birria tacos, but they are excellent! I also had the pretzel, which is so good it will bring tears to your eyes. And I can already tell the Onix is going to be my go to local brew.

Oh and there was amateur wrestling? It was very weird, but very entertaining. 10/10, would do again 😆

We didn't get food, but several people did so I feel like we missed out. The beer was great; all home brewed, some standard flavors and some daring, unique combinations. The staff were very kind and made us feel welcome from the start. The environment was laid back but professional, cozy and energetic at the same time. If the next time I go is like this, then I may have found my new hang out spot.

Vegetarian's Review of Traust.

This is one of the few places with the best preparation of an impossible burger. I usually get a hangover burger when i come. I replace the bacon with extra egg and it's super yummy. I always pair it with the tater tots. It's probably the best tots I've had in a while and the seasoning on them is nice. I suggest you pair either the tots of the burger with their BBQ sauce. I love coming here and the staff is awesome. We usually get a server named Brandy and she is amazing. Thank you Traust for the awesome experience every time!

I love this Brewery. They always have a variety of great beer and I love trying the new ones they roll out regularly. Their kitchen has tripled in quality since I moved to the area. The staff and owners do a fantastic job giving Mount Holly a cool space to hang out and the events they host are always a blast!

Did you know Traust had space to reserve for meetings and events? Don’t feel bad I didn’t either. But I was in search of a space to host my company’s quarterly meeting and Traust helped me out in a pinch and it turned out great. The staff was awesome. The space was perfect. The beer was even better. If you are a small business and need a place to meet think outside the box and give Traust Brewing a shout. Cheers.

I don't know why, but I always just assumed they had "normal bar food."
Boy, was I wrong!
I've traveled the country for almost a decade, eating the best gourmet burgers I can find in whatever location I'm at. This is easily in the top ten I've tried. That's saying A LOT.
Guess that's what I get for assuming...
