We have a large 30-year old Guggenheim rug that we cherish greatly. Unfortunately it was in a high-traffic area and was worn in many areas. The folks here restored it beautifully! They went above and beyond my expectations. Prices were reasonable considering the work that needed to be done. Staff is very nice and honest. We will be coming back when we need a new rug.

We asked Behnam Rugs to clean and repair some silk and wool rugs that had been damaged by pets. They did a great job and at a reasonable price. I really appreciated how they kept me informed through the process and ultimately surprised me by delivering the rugs back to our house for free. I will absolutely be returning for more business and would recommend them to anybody!

We’ve used Benham Rugs to clean and repair several hand-made rugs that were inherited or purchased overseas. Mr. Tavakolian took one look at them and was able to provide the country of origin, style, approximate age (80-100 years old) and even specifics as to the wool used. The cleanings were done by hand which preserved the quality and colors of the pieces instead of automated machines. The repair work conducted for the oldest rug was almost imperceptible and included additional touches to make it last for several more generations. Mr. Tavakolian’s expertise is truly impressive and I knew our rugs which have been passed down over generations were in excellent hands.

We recently purchased a rug for our dining room. Andre was extremely helpful with selecting the perfect rug. While there we mentioned we had a rug that needed a small repair. Their repair team did an excellent job. The area that was repaired is not noticeable. We highly recommend Behman Rugs for purchasing as well as cleaning and repairing rugs you currently own.

I have passed by Behnam Rugs many times on Preston and when I needed a Persian rug and a few other rugs cleaned I stopped by to gain a quote. The quote was competitive and fair, and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about various types of rugs. About a week after I dropped my three rugs, I received a call from the owner, Ben, explaining that two of my rugs had been touched up with color and during the cleaning process the color may run if I wanted to move forward with having them cleaned. Ben invited me to make an appointment to come watch the cleaning process which I did. During the process he explained each step in great details and was able to answer my many questions about the process and rugs in general. We watched the rugs being cleaned and only one rug in question regarding color bleeding did run but we were able to view and learn why. The rugs were washed and turned out great and I am thankful that Ben gave me all the information to make an informed decision regarding to wash or not. I am very happy with the customer service, the cleaning and information shared. They also have a great selection of rugs to choose from!

Customer service is topnotch at Benham Rugs. Andre took good care of my family heirloom, cleaned and repaired it. He even went to the effort of finding out what it would cost, packing and shipping my rug back to me since we live 2 hours away. This is a well-run business who really cares about their customers.

Very positive experience with Behnam Rugs. I was able to get a quote from them over the phone, they came to my home to pick up and deliver my rug, and they spent a lot of time with me in the showroom to show me their cleaning and repair processes. Their prices are very competitive (I compared them to other places in DFW) -- and so for the quality and service you receive, I think they are the best place in North Dallas for rug cleaning and repair. Specifically, Andre was very friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable about rugs of all types and varieties -- and he helped us with cleaning multiple rugs in our home and with shipping rugs out of state. Behnam has been cleaning my rugs for 15 years. They pick them up for me, and place them carefully down after cleaning in just the right place. All repairs and maintenance on the rugs is always beautifully done. The showroom is gorgeous, and they are always ready to show off any of the rugs you might be interested in. I can guarantee that most of these negative comments are from other countries and someone is trying to create negative image. Thank you, Benham Rugs!!! Our formal area rugs had never been professionally cleaned. One rug had a large, three-inch black spot soaked through to the pad. Several services declined to help, but Benham agreed to try and clean it for us. Their courteous workers arrived promptly and returned the rugs when promised. We were amazed at the results. Not only was the big black cooking oil spill spot removed, but we couldn’t tell which side of the rug had been soiled. Our 30+ year old rugs look like new!!! Thanks again, Benham Rugs!!!
