Half Price Books

My first visit here and I spent over $300 without even trying to. They have everything you could ever need or want all priced realistically.

In the hour I spent there, I was able to get some great movie steelbooks, a few records I’ve been wanting, and around 20 books that I’ve been wanting for my home collection/reading list.

The parking lot is super easy to navigate, the staff are all great, and the selection could have you pour hours without even scratching the surface. I highly recommend.

Clean store, very friendly and helpful staff. Marshall is amazing. Big ups to that guy!! Went above and beyond. Helped me find the books I needed and had no issue with me putting them on hold until tomorrow.

This is actually my second favorite store after the main warehouse. Friendly staff here.

Always a great selection of used CDs, including clearance at $2 or $3 each.

Visiting from Mississippi...I could spend an entire MONTH in here. Welcoming staff and atmosphere, bright, open, clean, children, pets, peaceful...Felt like I was at the library ❤

Love this place. It smells like books 📚 It's more like a library nice and quite and they have a large selection. Better than the one on cedar hill.

You can bring your dog to shop with you! I found many wonderful books and it was hard to choose which in who pick. Awesome prices as well. I will defiantly be back.

The best books South of 635/LBJ with an astonishing number of books for such a small store. Great collectibles, gifts for all genre. The store is always clean and well staffed with a helpful crew.

I dropped in for a DVD #Fences with #DenzelWashington and the DVD is flawless.

Love this place. I always find a huge variety of books and interesting trinkets here like older cd's, backpacks, and reading lights. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Don't forget to check out the clearance racks in the back. Prices can't be beat!!

All of the books are split up into sections, and it is fairly easy to find what you’re looking for.

This HPB location is dense in great finds across the store. Sci-fi and horror are always packed, but you'll also find great romance books. If you're into non-fiction, their arts and architecture sections have great finds, and, though not as large, I find a lot of good reads in their nature and science sections as well.

Staff is always on the move but will help with a smile at any moment, and it's just around the corner from their location on 75 and Alamo so if you have an afternoon to hunt for books on your wishlist it's a great place to start.

Local institution for decades, always enjoyed spending time here. Knowledgeable and friendly stsff. Excellent selections and computer systems can locate books at the nearby stores.

Although this Half Price Books store is a bit smaller, the customer service and merchandise are always good. Plus the prices were beyond reasonable for anyone's budget. I went in to look around and came out with multiple coloring books for my daughter!
