Best Italian food in Miami! The view is the best waterfront dining you can find of both the inlet and cruise port. The service is fantastic, and they are right on top of things all the way. Immediately, you are served with bread and a plate with some cheese and toasted bread with balsamic. The fresh pasta are some of the best I've had. My favorite every time is the bucatini matriciana. Very extensive selection of wines. Full bar and great old-fashioned cocktails which at an Italian restaurant are not easy to find. I've been here 3 times, and this is our go-to whenever we're in downtown Miami. Highly recommend !!!

Great location. I sat at the bar on a Friday evening and both bartenders (Leo and I think Jorti?) were wonderful. Very nice and on top of clearing plates. Grilled octopus was perfectly cooked.. large whiskey selection.

The food in this place is absolutely AMAzing.
My recommendation : lobster ravioli, mushroom ravioli and the Afferato toscano, fruti di Bosco for desert.

One of the best meals I've ever had. I got the veal which was one of the chef's specials that day. It was so tender and marinated with a delicious sauce. Felt like time stopped at the first bite!
Our server was also very patient and explained the menu multiple times helping us navigate dietary restrictions.
The ambience is also superb if you choose to be seated outside where you have a great view of the sea and lights at night.

It's a hidden gem on the water in Brickell FL, The view is breathtaking, the drinks are fantastic, the food is out of this world and service is impeccable. I highly suggest making reservations as they are always busy. A must try and highly recommended.

This is an Amazing restaurant, delicious food, awesome staff and a great location. We celebrated our anniversary and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend. If you are visiting Brickell area, you can’t miss this wonderful restaurant and after dinner walk around the area. Great scenery.

Let's discuss the most important part now, the food. Everything I have had here I can recommend, I was not disappointed with anything, in fact I leave here with nothing but a full stomach from enjoying every single bite!

Their pasta dishes are what stand out the most for, and they are absolutely amazing, each one in its own way.

If you like ice cream, it is first delicious, secondly the are served in actual fruit so it makes for the most darling presentation!

The restaurant is also on the water, so you get the loveliest and most romantic setting.

The restaurant is amazing . It all started with a James Bond lookalike introducing us to our seats . The food was absolutely perfect even a simple white fish with no sauce was tasty and healthy . The deserts are outstanding too . It’s a purrfect score .

Amazing food, staff, location! Absolute perfection. Every time we decide to go, it’s always the best time and you are catered to from start to finish. I have yet to try anything bad from their menu and love that you can walk around afterwards and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Highly recommend for a memorable date night!

We ordered an assorted of appetizers and main course and everyone of our party of 5 persons enjoyed the food except the veal Milanese was dry and it could be better! We like the desserts
And we accompanied our business lunch with an Italian red wine Chianti ruffino
We will comeback to this place for dinner

Il Gabbiano was an amazing experience.

I made a reservation for 9:30, but we decided to show up early for drinks, asked to be moved up and sat outside if possible, and by 8:45 we were being seated in the balcony!

The service was amazing, got complimentary plate of Fried Zucchini while waiting at the bar, the drinks were amazing and not overpriced.

When we sat to eat we got complimentary bread as usual, complimentary cheese, some Bruschetta, some more Fried Zucchini, we were almost full before ordering a meal. This was good for me because it made me want to order the best meal as I knew I'd be focused on the experience rather than satisfying hunger.

We ordered the Octopus grilled for appetizer, it wasn't too burnt. I had the black and white Seafood Fettuccine.

Everything tasted extremely fresh. The server explained so well that I didn't have to look at the menu at all.

Overall a great experience, great service, great food, I'll be going back tonight for the rack of lamb.

Best meal I’ve had in such a long time! Beautiful food, fantastic service and a great wine list. Fabulous, creative and fresh. The octopus two ways was incredible. Patio dining during Covid felt very safe. Memorable meal, memorable night!

This is my new favorite restaurant! Everything is exceptional here starting with the service and each entree of the meal. They start you off with an aged balsamic vinegar, fresh chunk of parmesan cheese, and bruschetta. Next, we had baked clams that were to die for and then a pasta with fresh fettuccine noodles made with a champagne cream sauce with shaved truffle on top. For the main course we had grilled lagostinos that were so sweet and tender and a fried veal chop on the bone sauteed in butter. We ended our meal with cappuccino and fresh tiramisu, cream brulee and zabagloni cream with fresh berries. Everything was superb!

Will absolutely be back! The food was AMAZING! I really appreciate the gluten free noodle option! Everyone was very attentive to our needs. Larry was an amazing waiter he even recommended a really great espresso martini! Fast delivery, scenic views!

Everything was absolutely amazing. Food, service and views were perfect. We ordered salmon, chicken Alfredo pasta and fried calamari which were all delicious. We requested for seating by the water views and they were very accommodating. Definitely worth the price.

It was a great experience. The food was delicious, the view was great and the waiters were very attentive. I spoke a few days prior to our reservation and the hostess helped me set up a proposal for my girlfriend. Everything they promised, they delivered. The food is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Overall it was a great experience and I plan on going back again.
