I've known Alan for well over 30 years. All the way back to when the garage was on the bypass, hence its name. He has always been honest, forthright with his diagnosis, timely with repairs, and fair in price. I've recommended him to friends and acquaintances without hesitation.

My review is a few days late, but I had a chance to drive my car for several days and give my true overall experience with Bypass Garage. My car had been acting up for a little while so I first decided to call the LARGE dealership where I bought my car, of course as expected the guy on the phone told me "if I were you I would have this and that and this done" which he quoted me over $700 (not including diagnostic) so I started googling places near me and came across Bypass. I know a pretty decent amount about cars and I had a general idea just about what it could be and after reading reviews I figured I'd give them a try. I spoke with Alan and right off the bat he was very nice and didn't try to sell me, he just basically suggested based on what was going on I should bring it in so he could put it on the machine. Being that it was later in the day I brought it in the next morning having no expectation that it would be done the same day, but within an hour of me dropping it off he had already called me telling me what was wrong and it was basically what I thought just a simple spark plug and ignition coil. He quoted me a very fair price with labor included in the total and had my car back to me within 1-2 hours after that. They're very fair and honest and I've definitely found my new mechanics.

I took my truck to Bypass Garage to have my ac fixed, and they did a fabulous job. I am truly pleased with my experience with them. They git me in and out the same day, the price was fair, they were so nice and even gave me a discount for paying with cash. I will absolutely use them in the future. Thank you for such a great job.

I know nothing about cars, and I saw that my maintenance light turned on. I knew I could immediately go to Bypass Garage and schedule a time to get it checked for a good price and soon. Alan was great at answering any questions I had and was really friendly. As a newer driver, I feel like I can trust Alan’s advice and his car services in the future.

When my husbands truck broke down on his way to work yesterday morning we googled and found Bypass Garage!!! Thank God we did. We have lived in Brooksville the last 2+ years and unfortunately have encountered some not so honest mechanics. We bought our home here and are putting roots in..so finding a trustworthy mechanic is something truly invaluable!! Alan not only fixed his truck within 24hrs, but because the part needed is no longer made by Chevy and was difficult to track down, he went ahead and custom built the needed part for a more than fair price!! We are so grateful to Alan and even though we hope not to see him soon, if we do we know we won’t be in bad hands!

We have been going to Bypass Garage for years. He was recommended by another mechanic as owning the only honest shop in town and that has proven to be the case. I remember the heat going out and getting a quote for a new heater core. I know if I had shopped around I might have found a cheaper price but when Alan started he found that he could clean it for a minimal charge. (anywhere else and I would have had a new but unneeded heater core)

I can’t remember how many times he has told me of upcoming issues with my car to be followed by “You don’t need to do that right now” If he tells you that something needs to be done sooner rather than later, you can take that as truth. My trust has saved me a lot of money in the long run

An honest mechanic is worth his weight in gold and that definitely applies to Bypass Garage

Had my a/c go out on me so I started looking up mechanics online and came by Bypass and was impressed with all of the amazing reviews so I decided to give them a chance. I called and got scheduled to bring my car in pretty quickly. The owner called me after a few hours and explained what was wrong with my car and told me he could order the parts to be there the next day. I was able to pick my car up to use it until I needed to drop it off again to be fixed. I dropped it off the next day and it was only a few hours again before I got the call that my car was ready to go. Ive Now Had Ice Cold a/C And I Am So Grateful For Such An Honest, Friendly Mechanic!
I doubt I'll ever go to another mechanic if I ever need work done again.

Was looking to buy my first car, brought it to Bypass to have Alan give it a once over. Took the time out of his day to do so and when i brought it back the next day after purchasing, ordered parts and began working on it right away! So pleased with the service. Very friendly and reliable personel. Will be coming back to Alan and Bypass for all future service. Awesome job, guys!!!

I would reccomend this shop to anyone. Very knowledgeable. Very reliable. It is nice to see such a family and community oriented business. They are constantly showing support and involvement in local events. Always does a consistently great job on our vehicles too.

I was in town and needed a jump to my car, as a dummy I left the door open and the battery went dead. Well I called them and about 8 minutes later he was there and jumped my vehicle. He actually didn't want anything for doing it, but gave him a tip. So I am impressed by his quick service. Great job, and Thank You.

My family and I have been coming here for years. They are very trustworthy and I have never felt pressured into buying any services from them. They always tell me their honest opinion and I value that so much. They also are usually running a 5% off special if you pay in cash. Every little bit helps!

Mark and Allen are honest mechanics!!! I would recommend everyone to go there. My new Jeep 2014 stalled out! It ended up on a flat bed. Took it to Bypass to see what the problem was. All I knew is I smelt a strong gas Oder. Mark called me an hour later to tell me basically my fuel line clap was loose. Tighten it up for me and back on the road I was!! You need a honest, knowledgeable, professional mechanic’s GO to Bypass!!! 👍🏻👍🏻
