Hopewell Baptist Church

Pastor Ray is just amazing. And the congregation is like family, very welcoming and kind. We moved away but until we find a church as good as Hopewell, we'll continue to watch online.

Our family passed by his church just for a couple of days and got to go soul winning with the church people. Pastor Ray was very generous and kind to us and our children and went out of his way to make us feel at home. We will never forget his kindness and love for missionaries.

15 years ago a little blue slip of paper appeared on my door inviting my family and I to church. We were Christians but needed the invite and the opportunity... I rode bus 4 with the most amazing family who showed my brothers and I the love of Christ. I heard sermons from brother Steve that made me laugh... enjoyed trips and carnivals I wouldn’t have had funds to enjoy.... but most importantly they showed me Jesus. To this day I find myself singing the bus songs we learned every Sunday morning. They planted seeds of hope, faith, and love that continue to be revealed to me even all these years later.

Pastor Mike Ray is a gift from god. His preaching his passion his wisdom his energy his dedication is all that of a true servant of god.I love this man. Although I do not call myself a Baptist or a anything , I am a believer in god and I will listen to anyone preach who has the power to bring me closer to him.

My home church. Best church in Cali. Mike Ray is a DYNAMTE preacher and my church family is OUTSTANDING!!! The Bible is the basis for all that is taught and preached. No compromises whatsoever. I love it, because I love Him, my Saviour and Lord.

Mike Ray and his staff provide sound Bible teaching appropriate for serious Bible believers. Everyone is always warmly welcomed. Hopewell is the perfect church for families of every age.

This church does so much for the youth not only from Napa, but from American Canyon, Vallejo and beyond, into communities west of the Alfredo Zampa bridge into Crockett, and Rodeo. They have large buses that travel and pick up passengers and take them to church, where they have an enriching and rewarding experience. My son began attending when he was just seven years old, and still attends today. He is now fifteen years old, and continues today grow, along with the younger children who now attend the church with him in 2017. My heart goes out to the family that have enriched so many children, as the church family deals with and grieves after the loss of "Brother Dave ", who went today be with The Lord at the end of 2016. He touched so many lives, and now lives with The Lord in Heaven.
