We are truly blessed to be growing in the Word of the Lord as Pastor Jonathan O’Hara leads our congregation based on Biblical principles.

My husband and I have known Pastor Brandon for well over two decades now and visit this God honoring church anytime we pass through on a Sunday. He and his wife, Amanda, fiercely love the Lord and sincerely love others...enough to share with them (out of pure concern for their eternal souls), the whole truth in God's word. Top that off with a great sense of humor from him and such a sweet graciousness from her that anyone would be blessed to sit in the pews at FBC if they are actually willing to listen to him preach and truly get to know them in as people especially in person.

We are so blessed to be able to worship God in such a welcoming and loving church. Pastor Jonathan and his wife Jana are doing amazing things and we are so grateful.

Pastor Durham is wise and has a heart for the gospel and the issues that modern men and women face. He consistently brings God's word to the issues, and occasionally faces slander and brigading from those who are hostile to God's word. If you hate God's word, you will likely also hate this church.

Our family truly had an amazing time worshiping God during the service this morning. The members were so friendly to us and made us feel at home. Dr. Stone brought a strong Bible based message and Asa (worship leader) pointed us to the Lord through inspiring music. We will be praying for you all.

Wonderful, faithful people of God who hold fast to the teaching of the Bible from the pulpit.

We have a new pastor, Jonathan O'Hara, who has been pastoring for 10 years here in the Freeport area. As a former pastor of PUMC for 6.5 years and then Family of Christ Church, we recently merged with FBC of Freeport, so things here are significantly different from the past. I encourage you to check us out. I can be heard often saying: "What does the Bible say? That's what matters." The reason I only gave us 4 stars instead of 5 is because we are a good church but still a work in progress seeking to please God as we become a great church. We hope you'll see that the reviews from the past are at least 1.5 years old. May God bless you as you look for a church, if you'd like to check us out, we are a Bible believing, God fearing body of believers that are striving to be obedient to God's Holy Word.

I didn’t plan to write a google review but Brandon Durham seems committed to being dishonest. He posts here as the church saying what’s been said about him are false allegations but here is one screenshot of what he actually DID say. There are countless other verifiable screenshots and twitter threads where you can see for yourself how Brandon acts on the internet. By his own admission online, this happens often and he enjoys it. His wife reached out to me last night and was kind so I had decided to drop it. Seeing what Brandon continues to say online and how he’s determined to mischaracterize the consequences of his actions here, I felt I should leave this review. I don’t doubt that the people at this church are good. They deserve a better pastor.

Not a fan of the Pastor. His Twitter reads like someone who doesn’t understand any aspects of the Bible. God is love and says vengeance will be his. Brandon thinks that’s his role though. Would recommend steering clear of this church.

Let's just take a minute to ask ourselves if Pastor Brandon is Christ-like. 🤔 If Christ were alive today, do you suspect he would do as Brandon does, calling women skanks, posting false information on social media?
