Garwood Post Office

This is by far the best USPS office that I have ever visited. We went for my daughter’s passport and even with a lot of issues on our end, the clerk and supervisor helped us with everything. We will be using this post office from now on. Thank you Garwood, NJ Post Office!

I can’t believe anyone that would give less than an excellent experience at the Garwood Post Office . The women that work in front are so sweet . I never have had a problem in all my years living in town! Best post office

Tellers at window are always POLITE AND HELPFUL...POSTAL PEOPLE.AT WINDOW ARE ALWAYS POLITE...

I wish I could take half a star away because it's still the USPS and their prices are outrageous.... fortunately they have a great staff at this location. One or two employees have been there forever and are incredibly friendly, helpful, as is the rest of the staff.
Only negative besides being the USPS and their evil corporate pricing would be all the old people that still buy stamps, buy them online and stop crowding the lines... darn old people time to learn the internet!

Not sure how anyone could give this post office anything less that 5 stars. They are all so nice! Love the friendly staff!! I’ve lived in Garwood for two years and always has a good experience here. Today in particular I felt like they went above and beyond... I came with a un-filled out PO Box form and the woman took her time to complete it for me, with patience and care. There is also a very friendly man that helped me that same day when I came back to send a package. They are the nicest post office personnel I’ve ever encountered. I love this office!

I have been using for many years and I find them to be very professional; in regards to the other reviews they are strict about the packaging because it can come back ...which is a nightmare ...adds about 2 -3 weeks delay

Regular US post office services. It is a satellite Post Office nowadays. The main post office in this area is Cranford.

Every time I step foot in this place I get annoyed. It's either I am always doing something wrong or the staff is being rude. Can never catch a break here

I agree with the other negative posts to this office, sadly, for years, every time I leave a package, they have something to say, either it is not the box that you take or it is not the envelope, it is always something. but they do not help you either, but after doing the whole package you want to send it and again she tells you, that it is not, that you should not use a certain box or envelope and I have to break it and do it again, I never have any problem in the other post offices so I prefer to go to another office, although this one is close, they are very rude, I do not understand why they treat the client in this way, no matter how nice you are.

Horrible experience the staffs do not help at all and they are very very rude. I went for a passport appointment and left without having done. The lady was unprofessional and very rude and she doesn't care at all. I went to a different location and it was easy process with less time and got my passports done. Zero for this location… I would never go to this location.

Typical federal govt workers. Rude. gave me an attitude about using a piece of tape. Wanted to charge me instead for full a roll of tape. what a joke. I left, and the extra from 227 mouthed off to me. great customer service.

Scheduled for Passports appointment 2 weeks ago for the family and they called me 1 day before telling me they have to cancel my appointment and not schedule at this facility for the upcoming 2 weeks because they don't have staff.

The service of this government agency is the worst, the staff does not help at all and they still collect our taxes. I do not recommend it at all. try to go somewhere else but never here.
