Meat U Anywhere BBQ

If I could give this establishment a 10 I would for sure. Upon entering the owner gave us several samples. Brisket, a rib, his sausage and even offered his signature stew. He was very hospitable and the food he served was unreal. The brisket was so tender and moist. The pulled pork I paired with his Carolina BBQ sauce and WOW WOW WOW. Last I had the traditional sausage and jalapeño sausage. I wil say this and stand by it, the beat sausage I have had in the state of Texas. So juicy with a perfect crunch to the outer skin. While dining, the owner and his staff were cleaning tables and making sure everyone enjoyed their food. Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience. I will be back for sure.

This was the first time that my family and I have been here (we’re from out of town) and it was an AMAZING experience!! The food was great, ESPECIALLY THE MAC AND CHEESE I’ll be dreaming of it 💕and everyone was super nice, hospitable and friendly 🙏🏼✨ Definitely recommended if you’re driving thru or in general 💯

This is legit, down-home Texas barbecue. Meat U anywhere imparts perfect smoke flavor and renders their brisket perfectly every time. I enjoy the potato salad and German sausage as well. Do yourself a favor and avoid the tourist traps in town who only make picture worthy yet flavorless smoke ring briskets and give this place your business. You won’t regret it! Love it here, great service too!

I'm not normally a "rib guy" but their ribs are phenomenal. The jalapeño cheddar sausage is top notch and the jalapeño mac & cheese is otherworldly. I try to find different eateries each time I visit Texas (about once a month for a week-work) but I almost always find myself sitting down at Meat U Anywhere at least once per trip.

Best BBQ in the area surrounding Grapevine Lake. I haven't tried them all but best I have had in Flower Mound and Grapevine. I went to Trophy Club, got a B day dinner to go all smoked with hickory seasoned Oak:
1 lb. St Louis pork ribs- the best hands down I may have ever had. Unreal bark, meaty, tender and plenty. Got like 8 bones for the lb. WORTH GOING BACK FOR. $25
1/2 lb. brisket-I let it sit in a warming over for 2 hours so not fair but flavor was outstanding
1/2 lb. jalapeno cheese sausage/1 lb. turkey- you can only screw these up to me and they were 100% what I expected. All the meats came in a big to go tin, napkins, onions/pickles, Carolina, heat or reg sauce- the reg was perfect to me, sweet and a bit hot- and they threw in a bar of rolls which were store bought.
1 quart Jalapeno Mac and Cheese- again best I have ever had. Big noodles, hot, just cheesy enough and not too spicy. Would go back-$16
pints of southern style mayo based slaw/notcha momma slaw: both fresh and one mayo based the other I preferred which was. a bit sweet and with ramen noodles, almonds, lotsa flavor. Both excellent $8
Spent $150 , fed 5 with leftovers for 6.
Its a BYOB place too. Eat there or take it home- you gotta try it ESPECIALLY if you are new to DFW like us.

Wow!! I rarely give a restaurant 5 stars, but this place was excellent! First of all this is a really nice area in general, and the building was newer and clean inside. You park around back and walk around to the side, at least that’s how it felt to me. There’s no front!

I ordered the turkey and brisket with a side of Cowboy Campfire pinto beans and it was the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. The brisket was moist and tender with a thick flavorful bark, and the turkey was just a tender and flavorful.

You’ll definitely want to try the pinto beans. There was no music playing which took away from the atmosphere, but the food certainly made up for that. I was later told by management that the music is usually playing, but there were technical issues with it at the moment.

Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed here!

Delicious food but a bit pricy. I had the pulled pork and macaroni it was very good. I don't drink but there was a sign outside that said byob.

Hands down the best BBQ brisket around. Lately, I've been coming almost once a week, getting 2lbs or more of brisket. Yes it's that good!

Fries, ribs, etc also very good.
Also very outstanding customer service.

We didn’t know what to do when we walked in the building…. but they were SUPER helpful and friendly. They gave us samples of meat to try. They were all incredible! The meat just melted in your mouth. Everything we ordered was delicious! We had the smoked turkey and the sausage. Mmmm!!! I would highly recommend eating in the restaurant or taking it to go!

Oh my where do I start? This was great food! I tried a Lil bit of everything and even brought home some tamales! Brisket tamale! The jalapeño Mac and cheese was so good! But the spicy bbq sauce was my favorite, the meat didn’t need it but the sauce was just that good!

Great bbq! It is a big building and was pretty crowded but they were efficient. Kind reminds me of Rudy's BBQ...at least the ordering setup does.

One of the best BBQ joints in America. I would put this head to head against any of Nealy's places. It's a meat market so don't go expecting BBQ spaghetti or anything strange. It's a sledgehammer for some with the smoke. It is hickory and oak. Very distinct. The Shed can't touch this place, the Joint isn't even in the same league. Corky's back in the early 90's good. Rendezvous good. Seriously. I don't say this lightly. Breakfast tacos with world class brisket at 0600. Can't beat it.

Best breakfast tacos! All are great. My go to choices are the Brisket/Egg/Cheese and the JC Sausage/Egg/Cheese.

So my friend was always telling me about this place but I’m hardly ever in the area, well today my appointment ended early and actually had time to stop by.
I told them it was my first time there and they gave me a sample of the brisket 😋.
Then one of the guys came from the back and was telling me he was making brisket chili for a customer and gave me a sample of that too, I don’t think that’s even on their menu.
Everyone there was treating me like a VIP, at one point I was looking around to see if someone important had walked in… 😂😂
I had the brisket, jalapeño cheddar sausage and a breakfast taco, and I ate it all!
FYI they do breakfast tacos all day!!
The food is great and is only surpassed by the customer service.
I can see now why my friend was always telling me to go try them, so go try them you won’t be disappointed.

As in my previous reviews at their Grapevine location, the food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. I love good BBQ and this is one of my favorites.

This is my and my husband's go to place when we are in Roanoke. The food is so, so good, and the employees are wonderful. The spicy bbq sauce is kept behind the counter. The beef is tender and if you like spicy, we get the jalapeno mac n cheese. The price is pretty typical for bbq joints, so expect about $15 a person if you purchase a drink instead of water. Definitely worth the money.

First time here ! In town from out of state working and thought why not try some Texas BBQ…. WOW!!!! Where can I start .. Beyond impressive AWESOME
customer service!! The gentleman cutting the meat ( apologies didn’t get his name ) Kate at front counter.. genuine hospitality! absolutely amazing! Customer service like this is extremely rare to come across it seems these days .. from initial warm welcoming greeting .. to knowledgeable suggestions .. taste sample to make sure it was what I liked .. to me accidentally leaving my credit card in the chip reader and Kate taking time looking around for me to make sure I didn’t leave without it! I HIGHLY recommend this location… first and foremost for the customer service provided .. . But as well their food was very delicious ! Texas BBQ success ! Look forward to returning next time I’m back in Texas!! Brisket outstanding! Ribs mouthwatering!

My friend Adam Rivera is the GM of both restaurants. I had lunch last week and got some of everything they offer. Brisket,sausage, ribs,smoked enchiladas, Mac n cheese, beans. This is the best bar- b- que I have ever put in my mouth by far. The portions are big, the flavor is like nothing you ever had. I give this place 8 stars out of 5. I will definitely be back and he will do all my catering for upcoming events. Adam is also an awesome golfer if you ever need a partner. Keep up the good, delicious work.

First time at the Trophy Club location. Much bigger than the one in Grapevine, but the food is just as great! My wife is planning my birthday party here!!! Awesome!!!
