Our 2 year old has loved going to Mr. Drew’s since they opened the new location. He loves it so much we hosted his birthday there this past year. The staff is always helpful and it’s amazing to get to see Mr. And Mrs. Drew doing what they love. (And a built in toddler potty seat in the bathroom is a blessing!)

Amazing education center!
The staff is all wonderful and friendly!
Touched a snake for the first time and saw an axolotl in person! So cool!
Cant wait to go back again soon!

This place is a great family-friendly place. The kids got to interact with a number of animals and the staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Also, I appreciated that it wasn’t really a profit model business. It’s $10 dollars to get in and there was no attempt to upsell anything.

Also, Mr. Drew was there and his passion for animals was on full display.

We had the best time visiting today with our 3yo! There were 4 spots with dedicated staff where you could touch and hold various creatures (lizards big and small, snakes, tarantulas, cockroaches, etc.). My 3yo was thrilled to hold each and I felt he was in great hands with the staff right there keeping him and the animal safe. The tortoise, rabbit, and iguana feeding pen was my favorite. My son enjoyed the play stations throughout the center too, I think there were at least 10 different stations with coloring, sand play, magnet play, chalk, so many books, shell exploration, etc.. to name a few. The mine and gem search was surprisingly cool too, with little headlamps and the ability to keep 3 gems. On a parent level, I appreciated bathrooms with little kid seats, boppy pillow, lots of seating and spare baby items (wipes, diapers, etc.). Special shout out to the snake gentleman today with the cool beard and the gentleman helping with the mine - both of them were so kind and so good with my son. The other staff were informative too, but the snake and gem staff were just top notch. We will be back again for sure!

We brought our lil girl for her birthday and all 3 of us had an amazing visit! Mr. Drew was there and was able to add a couple special lil moments to make her birthday special. It’s a great thing they do for the animals, not only rescuing, but rehabilitate and make whatever accommodations they may need. The entire staff seems to have a lot of knowledge on nearly any critter too. I’d recommend setting aside at least a hour as there is a LOT to see/ pat/ hold/ feed. Such a great local place to visit, we’re looking forward to coming back as new critters arrive and excited to watch this place grow! Highly recommended for all ages!

Wonderful place and wonderful staff! What an awesome experience! To view the first level it is $3 to do the 1st and 2nd level that has the geology hunt it is $6. Completely worth it and the money goes to a great cause. If you have ever been to a party with Mr.Drew or been to one of his shows you know that this is an awesome experience to share with your kiddos.

Brought my two boys and their cousin here today! I have to say this place exceeded all our expectations! All the staff were very welcoming and informative! It was a very hands on experience, with the boys being able to hold, touch and feed some of the animals. You can tell everyone there really care and love the animals. Loved meeting Mr Drew. He explained to the boys what gems and treasures they found in the digging sand room! And they ended doing a craft! Great experience and will definitely be back! 10 out of 10 recommended!

By far one of the best places for children to safely interact with animals that I've ever seen. Everything is clean, open and accessible for wheelchairs & strollers, eye level critters for toddlers and adults. The animals are well cared for, there's also plenty of non-critter oriented activities for kids. The staff is incredibly friendly and it's an overall one of a kind place!

This place is truly an awesome experience. All of the staff members clearly love what they do and their enthusiasm is contagious. An experience unlike any other in the state of Maine and such a worthy cause to support with the admission fees.

My daughter and I went today for $10 each, so $20. She is only two, but there was plenty for her to explore and do here. All the staff was super inviting and interactive. We were there for probably two hours, but it was such a relaxed environment I felt like we could’ve stayed all day. We got to dig for rocks and gems, color, play with magnets, read books, go in the tortoise pen, pet lizards, and more. 10 out of 10 highly recommend to anyone with children.

Visited today with a 3 year old and a two year old. I was worried they would be too young and it would be too busy due to it being a school vacation. It was busy but the staff made it run so smoothly. We got to enjoy everything. My neice and nephew loved touching the turtles, lizards and snakes. They loved minning Definitely fun for all ages.

Had a stop in and my daughter just loved it. Most of the animals are rescues for various reasons. Lots of fun to be had here. It is apparent that Mr. Drew loves introducing children to his animals and helping them learn, too!

We had such a great time! My boys look forward going to your center every week to buy the bugs for their bearded dragon. They love taking their family member to the center to get a checkup and learn new things as he grows. WE are amazed that they also have a birthday room for birthday parties. You folks just thought of everything. Keep up all you do and thank you again for bringing smiles to so many kids. I am so glad we are neighbors!

Absolutely the best activity and educational hands on center I have ever seen. Something for everyone to do. Even a lego station if a child doesnt like the animals. Staff is very patient and knowledgeable. Definately made with children in mind.

This place is incredible. Whether you're going to get a mouse to feed your snake, look at ALL of the different reptiles, getting supplies or to just learn more about your own reptile. They are ALL so knowledgeable, friendly. Outstanding. I bring my Banana spider BO leo in there and Ari is incredible. Helping him shed including his eyes. (Since petco hasn't let my boy shed properly his entire life) he's back to shedding great! And ari is amazing and they teach you SO much. This is my favorite place to be
Not to mention feeding your reptiles there is MUCH cheaper than petco etc. Also they have tons of supplies for reptiles, donation based only. Not $50 per item like petco etc
Headed there now! I love this place I am so grateful it's less than 5 minutes from me

Amazing, my son enjoyed this so much. Before we left he made me promise we would go back. Also our reptile guide "ari?" She was great, very informative and just so much fun. Mr. Drew was also great, and the other staff. They made our experience what it was because of their awesome personalities and love for the critters

What a great place! Now it's not very fancy, or very big. And i had trouble figuring out the parking (its kind of around back). But Mr. Drew's was dense with reptiles to see, a fun little digging event, and a pretty good mineral collection. I came as part of a homeschool group and got the full tour. The staff was passionate and super freindly. Mr. Drew himself answered our questions and gave a little extra time since we're a family of Rock hounds. This is a great place that deserves your patronage and support!
