KP'S Place

I absolutely appreciate the food that KP's has to offer. It's a well hidden local joint that's recently expanded. Their customer service is great and the delicious food is cooked fresh and served quickly. The snack size basket is plenty filling with overflowing amounts of food, whereas the large basket can comfortably feed two adults; and the price for the amount of fresh seafood is astounding. I attempt to stop in every time I'm in town and will be sorely disappointed when work no longer brings me across the path of KP's.

Delicious fried food that isn't greasy or heavy, along with large portions. Fries are crispy on the outside and super fluffy inside. Onion rings are crispy and the onion just kinda melts in your mouth. I've had plenty of fried food but this place has amazing food and very nice staff! I'll definitely be coming back!

Omg, my whole class basket was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is great. A definite go to a second, third, fourth etc. Lol

Amazing! The breading is nice and light. The seafood platter with scallops haddock, shrimp, and fried clams was a perfect. My 5 to only eats chicken and she had the haddock and now loves fish. Very VERY fresh. Friendly staff. Will make a point to drive out here just to come to KPs.

I'm visiting Maine and wanted local eats versus fastfood chains. This little local shop was what I wanted. I had a Grilled Haddock fish sandwich which was light, not fishy and grilled perfectly. I talked with the owner and the cashier who was very sweet and accommodating. I had only a little time and they put it in a to go for me!

My guilty pleasure: fried food. While visiting, I wanted to try out how the local Mainers do it. I got the 1/2 shrimp and Haddock. It was less oily than expected, which is a huge plus. The serving is generous. Employees are nice and friendly. All in all, great food with less of the guilt.

Very friendly, told the nice lady it was my first time in mane and found there place , had lobster roll and homemade onion rings , was great food and great service !!!

The restaurant has been remodeled and it's really cute it's all remodeled with Pepsi logo tables and chairs very cute cozy atmosphere.

Limited menu, but very good fried food. Chicken was tender and moist in all the right ways.

Great portions. food is fresh and consistent. The kitchen is spotless and the stuff is very friendly. KP's is at the top of our rotation when we don't feel like cooking or have a hankering for something specific.

Lobster Roll: Nailed it. Probably the best I've ever had. Stuffed right full on a perfectly toasted roll. The clam strips were also delicious. I'm just trying to figure out why there isn't a line out the door!

I have a son who is a picky eater. However, he loved the cheeseburger we ordered for him here. He said, "Mom, this is the best burger ever!" The next morning he asked if we could go to the place with the good cheeseburgers. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and was not disappointed. The chicken was flavorful and moist. The lettuce was also fresh and crisp. Staff is friendly and care about what they do. I highly recommend the food at KP's Place and will be returning soon. 😁

A slightly-hidden-away gem of a place that has some of the best fried fish and chicken I've had in quite a long time. The batter was the perfect mix of flavor and crisp without being heavy. Large portions and friendly staff. Honestly wish I had found it sooner.

We were looking for a good fried seafood place because our normal place was closed, and so we decided to try KPs. What a wonderful surprise! The food was delicious, the portions were amazing, and the prices were very reasonable! This place is a MUST TRY! We will definitely be back again!
