H-E-B Pharmacy

I love this pharmacy! This is by far the best retail chain pharmacy I’ve ever used. There are plenty who could take lessons from these people. Other HEB pharmacies especially.

They do have one person who is very difficult to deal with and it’s unfortunate. It does bring down the overall warm & fuzzy feeling from time to time. This person has terrible phone skills, seems to confuse ring back and new incoming calls often hence the hang ups or being placed on hold without a word.

I just grin and bear it. I know that person tries and may just be in a bit too deep perhaps.

Not specific to this HEB, the 8-8 hours are tough for me personally. I sure wish that would return to normal again! Since I’m medical field I usually work 7a-7p. I’m often unable to pick up my prescriptions.

I love HEB's Pharmacy and over the years I've tried most of them as a man in my mid 50s. The are easy to get a hold of on the phone, will work with you in terms of speeding up orders if you are having a hard time or in urgent need and there are always plenty of people working the Pharmacy so I don't recall any real wait times. I've read some of the one ⭐ comments and I'm unsure why their experiences were so different than my own.

I unfortunately have several illnesses that require medication. I experienced countless problems with the Lakeway CVS (except for Tanya at the drive thru, she is wonderful) but after several years of frustration, I transferred to HEB pharmacy and they have been excellent. They fill my prescriptions on time, are friendly and competent and actually answer their phone right away. This is the best pharmacy I have used in over 10 years.

The pharmacist, (I believe her name was Jennifer) explained in detail my medication and was very nice. I don't agree with some of the bad reviews here, I have always had a good experience. I feel bad for the girl at the register, she had to call my insurance a couple times but in the end she helped me get a discount and called me when my prescription was ready.

I love this store! Busy but lots of good fresh food & plenty of staple items. Bulk section always well stocked and nice & clean. Love the wine selections. Big fan of the quick meals too. Some great people working too!

I switched from a national chain pharmacy to H.E.B. and have been really happy. Response time is uniformly much faster than I experienced with the old one, prices are better, and the pharmacist Jennifer really seems to know her stuff, and communicates well, and with empathy.

Super nice staff. Very helpful and they always have my medication on time. :)

Staff here is very nice and always stop to help me when I need it.
