We had a massive tree fall in our backyard and Arborist Kevin was at my home within minutes of my initial call. He provided a suitable estimate for submission to my insurance company and the crew arrived early the next day to complete the work, leaving virtually no sign of the fallen tree. It was amazing! Cannot recommend them enough.

We contracted Downes to cut down 2 trees. They were excellent in every way. They came when they said they would, were super efficient and safe and cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely use them again.

Downes Tree service sprayed 50 yards of mulch for us in our backyard. Phenomenal job by Diego, Brian and Giovanni! Neat, Clean job and the landscaping is now eye catching. 2 years in a row a 5 star experience with Downes!

In calm windless weather tree on our backyard suddenly fell down. Fortunately no one was hurt. Downes Tree Service was chosen to clean up the remains of the tree. The team arrived at the house at 7 am and by 8 am the work was completed, the site was cleaned, branches and parts of trunk were moved very careful to the cars on the road and the backyard was cleaned. This year I met this company twice, for the second time just recently. A large branch fell down on our backyard from one of the old trees belonging to the city and adjacent to our house. The city decided that it is better to cut tree down and eliminate the risk of the falling tree on the house. This time, the tree process of cutting tree was completely different. Employees of the Downes brought the Teupen platform. The team of 5 employees (Jay, Cesar, Victor, Carlos and Jose F.) worked professionally and quickly. One of them operated platform from the moving cabin. He raised the cabin almost to the very top of the tree. I have not yet seen this device in action in your city and it made a big impression on me. I took several photos. My wife and I left our house before the job was done. When we returned the team already left the workplace. Everything on front and backyards was clean. To move Teupen to the backyard the team needed to dislocate part of the fence, which was build to protect our small greenhouse. When we were back even the fence was moved to the previous place. The job was done extremely professionally and I think that company Downes and the employees of the company deserve the highest praise and I refer them to anybody, who looks for this type of job. Also I would like to thanks our town managers for selection of such a reliable company.

We used Downes to remove a very difficult and dangerous oak right next to our house. Kevin and his team were superlative in every way. I highly recommend Downes.

Very professional excellent tree trimming job at a reasonable price

Amazing experience!! The entire team at Downes treated our job like it was the only and most important job they had. Colleen in the office was kind, friendly and professional. Mike who assessed our job was knowledgeable and very helpful. Russell and his entire crew were excellent, on time, and extremely professional. And lastly the stump removal crew that came later were also top notch!! Highly recommend this company for your tree service needs. Great experience from beginning to end!!

Scott who came to give us the estimated took the time to explain what would be done to prune our trees. He was very professional and we received the quote the next day, their prices were reasonable. On the day of the work they came on time and were quite professional, they certainly have any equipment that might be needed. They made sure everything was cleaned up prior to leaving. I would recommend them to anyone.

I just purchased firewood for two locations for the upcoming winter season. This was my first dealing with Downes and I an so glad I called them. From Rebekah taking my orders and scheduling the deliveries and the yard crew and driver that picked and delivered my orders the expierence was excellent. The quality of the firewood was so much better than other suppliers I have dealt with in the past, no "junk" was part of the deliveries. Keep these guys in mind as to they are very customer centric.

I could not have imagined a better experience than the one I had with Downes! Fair and respectful, they fixed my problem while simultaneously assuring me that they were happy to perform the work however I wanted. Carly was informative and kind, and I never once doubted that the job would be done punctually and correctly. It was very nice to deal with such a wonderful company during these troubled times!

Great company. Had severe storm damage this past storm (as did most people) and they were so helpful. While they had so many emergencies to handle I didn't feel like I was getting forgotten at all. The work was done in a timely manner and the crew couldn't have been more professional. Will recommend to anyone who asks.

Downes Tree removed a tree that fell on my driveway during Hurricane Isaias. The staff in the office was helpful and quick to assist me, and the team that removed the tree was good at communicating with me, efficient, quick, and organized. From set up to clean up the entire process took about 15 min or so. Very professional, it was a pleasure. I would certainly recommend them to anyone in need of tree removal.

Needed 2 monster sumac trees that looses large branches in high winds removed.Also large branches from a maple tree that hung over my house and a neighbors garage .DOWNES sent out their arborist KEVIN who did a site survey and an estimate. Kevin had to work with 3 other property owners, a garden apartment building , a fire house and a liquor store.,since a crane and a large bucket truck would need to be placed in their parking lots. The Downes crew that came out did an excellent job, they took care of everything in a professional manner, and did a neat clean up afterwards. They also had to track down some vehicle owners before they could start. This is the second time I've used DOWNES and wouldn't hesitate to call them again. THANX DOWNES GUYS

Downs just trimmed some huge trees in my yard today (07/27/2020). They run a professional operation. Every single worker on site took the time to walk around the yard, and verify all of the trees to be trimmed. They carefully placed a cardboard material on my lawn to minimize damage as the heavy trucks drove on to it. Upon completion, they cleaned the area so well that there were no sign that they were even there, except for the trimmed trees. The person I dealt with was Scott Romandetta, I’d recommend asking for him, and I also recommend this company.

They did a fantastic job downing trees, pruning and removing deadwood on an acre property. They listen, are safe and thorough, cleanup beautifully, and were incredibly respectful and professional to work with. So happy! Worth every penny.

Had the opportunity to have mulch delivered to my home before our graduation party. I was very happy with the work that was done. Worked with Veronica. She was extremely helpful and very professional on the phone. I would recommend when calling Downes and looking for mulch, ask for Veronica.

I’m just sorry a 5 is as high as I can rate them. How people could have them down to a 3.9 is beyond me, they hit it out of the park on every mark I could think of. Jason is very fairly priced and is highly knowledgeable in every phase of his craft. All his crew as well as his partner John are just as friendly as anyone you would want to meet PS John is his dad great family business

I also wanted to let you know how happy everyone was with the work performed and the professionalism of your team. All the crew that were here really went above and beyond to make everything look great. Veronica did a fantastic job of coordinating the job as well.

Excellent job clearing and stumping three massive trees on my property, completed everything in a day as they came in with massive crew. Make sure Russ is running the site, he was professional and executed on what was promised 100%. He makes sure the site is running safe and clean.
Even came back to put my fence together as promised.
