Neighborhood Cafe

This is a great new place that we are trying to be regulars at. The service is always friendly and helpful. Even when they are busy in the morning food is prepared quickly and accurately. Shout out to Yonis (sorry if I spelled that wrong) who we have chatted with twice during our visits. He, and his coworkers, have always been welcoming. Another shout out to Chloe who also remembered us when we returned.

So far we have tried the coffee flight, the savory waffle, the churros, the Ube biscuits and gravy, and the Longanisa Smash Sandwich. All of these were great. Tasty, fresh, and new/exciting in terms of fusion and flavor. It is a surprise to see your biscuits and gravy arrive at your table with a dark purple color, but they were delicious nonetheless.

For coffee I would recommend either the Ube Brulee latte (a deliciously rich, sweet treat) or the Mint Mojito latte (if you prefer something lighter and more refreshing).

Such a great place with authentic Filipino food. The coffee flight was amazing!! You need to try the Ube latte. Great atmosphere, constantly busy.

Neighborhood Cafe did not disappoint for its grand opening! The Filipino fare satisfied with full portions and delightful flavors. We started with the coffee flight, a super-sweet good-sized sample of 4 different lattes, heavy on flavors and light on coffee. I don’t care for coffee, so I enjoyed the sweetness, but most may find it overly so. My husband and I shared House Hash and the Savory Waffle. The House Hash was a just right mix of flavors, topped with sawsawan sauce. We both agreed this was the favorite, and I will order it again. The Savory Waffle was enjoyed by my husband, but a bit overwhelming with a multitude of competing flavors for me to eat as much of it. I can’t wait to try more of the menu (ube! longanisa!).
Staff were amazing, setting was stylish, and food was memorable. Get there early before ube biscuits run out!!!

Amazing breakfast. We got the neighborhood plate which came with pork longanisa and the scramble. Food was so tasty, and came out quick. We also ordered the coffee flight which was really good. No complaints at all!

Definitely will be back soon.

We came by on a Wednesday morning and it was packed, but the service was super quick and the food was great. We ordered the coffee flight. It was a great variety and all the coffees tasted so good.

I can’t be anymore excited to have a new Filipino restaurant in Renton! It’s been open since Dec 9 and the line is consistently out the door. Everyone seemed happy to wait, and for good reason. We got the churros, pandesal, Ube and black sesame coffees to go. Can’t wait to come in for one of their beautiful dishes. The service was very friendly (even with how busy it was) and they take the time to connect with the customers as well, decor is esthetically pleasing too! Not just another IG influencer spot, this place is going to be busy all the time, and around for the long haul. I can already tell! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Fun, fusion dishes! Kids loved the mini ube pancakes and I enjoyed my savory waffle. Husband didn't think too much of the Neighborhood Cafe main plate, kind of basic, but it passed! I would definitely eat here again, it's a go for fun fusion foods, we need more of it!

I regularly go to the Neighborhood Cafe for a drink and a savory meal. I recommend the Longanisa Smash and the limited item Tapas Crunch Wrap. As a FilAm myself. I love the fusion concept and the representation in flavors. My goal is to taste the whole menu. I will say I like to be able to eat here rather than order delivery service since the sasawan (sauce) really adds the best flavor to the food. Such a cute cafe and always clean.

Wonderful spot for a bite to eat! Took me a second to familiar myself with the rules but there were signs and the staff was kind and patient. Read the menu on the wall, order and pay at the register, take a seat and bus your table. Pretty straightforward and self-sufficient which I like. Had the burrito and milk tea, and surprised it came to me much fancier and tastier than I was expecting. Please support this business! We need more of them.

The ube latte is WOW, so delectable. The leche flan milk tea is tasty, what a delicious combo. Excited for a new Filipino restaurant in the area! The menu looks so good, hoping to try out all the items this year!

We got the flight of coffees and they were really good! Tastes great- though better after we thought to mix them. Cute atmosphere and the workers were very sweet!
The coffee flight can only be made with whole milk (the drinks are layered and seem to have a heavy whip or flavored whip cream up top) so if you are sensitive to dairy, I'm sorry it's not for you.

Can't go wrong with the neighborhood plate and the house hash, and the longanisa smash sandwich was excellent, but what sold me was the coffee flight!

Even though there is limited seating the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They helped us find a table, it's a first come first serve when it comes to tables. I ordered the chicken fried steak with longinsa sausage gravy. A great fusion of Southern and Filipino food. The lumping was better than my Filipino MIL's, but don't tell her that. It was a great place to have lunch with a friend and catch up. We are looking forward to our next lunch there and trying some of the other dishes. Oh, the garlic fried rice was everything!

So many great options, it's difficult to choose. Today we had the Boba Pancakes, Lechon Burrito and Tapa Crunch Wrap Special. The Boba Pancakes are a very generous plate of delicious light, fluffy mini pancakes, great for sharing. Both the crunchwrap and burrito were good sized with incredible flavor.

One thing that sets them apart from other local Island restaurants is the use of glassware, dishes and stainless flatware. The focus on the environment is apparent and appreciated

Shoutout to whoever does the marketing for this cafe! The instagram post of their coffee flight sucked my wife right in and there was no stopping it. The coffee was top notch and the food somehow was even better. Very quirky food options but it all comes together fantastically. We will be back.

This place just opened and we thought to check it out. We went there early to get good seats and to make sure there was a highchair. I loved their Ube Latte but also they have other creative coffee and milk tea drinks. They had American style breakfast mixed with some Filipino elements. I got the chicken fried steak with the Longanisa gravy which was excellent. Would go back with the fam again or take my wife on nice little date there.

Came in the other day and tried the neighborhood plates, lumpia, as well as the coffee flight. The food was amazing and the lumpia was some of the best I ever tried! We seen the coffee flight on social media and loved the taste and presentation! Really cool to have our creme brulee torched in front of us. Great friendly staff and very accommodating!

Tastes are especially on point. It's a great compromise on conventional filipino flavor with great modern twists. Definitely worth a visit. The Biko Pandan tea drink was amazing.

Fantastic filipino fusion food, chill vibes and a great location w decent prices. I've literally never had lechon that crispy and delicious! 10/10, my new fav breakfast spot hands down!
