Lily’s food cart

We ordered the chicken dumplings ($8) and the scallion pancakes (also $8 I think). The chicken dumplings are mini and you get a cup full (it is quite a lot). They were good but kinda cold because we had to wait a bit for the scallion pancakes, which were to die for!! Highly recommend! So much of her food looked and smelled delicious. I don’t think you could go wrong. She also has soy sauce, chili sauce, honey chili sauce, and one or two more sauces in a little self serve station on the side. Water bottles are $2 and Gatorades are $4.

Where her cart is located has tables to sit and eat and is close to LL Bean & shopping so there are plenty of places to walk to & sit if you choose. Nice little place to grab something quick!

Lilly is an absolute sweetheart! This is a must if you’re looking for a quick meal or want to enjoy some food outside. I would recommend the noodle stir fry and dumplings.

Lily’s good cart was amazing! My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch and got the tofu fried rice and tofu stir fried noodles and both were super fresh and flavourful. We also had the veggie dumplings with chili oil and they were phenomenal. Would absolutely come back and recommend!

Chinese mini dumplings, noodles, fried rice, plus snow cones, located behind the Starbucks. Excellent food, especially the popular chicken dumplings. We also got the chicken and the shrimp noodles which were also very tasty. Those were kind of like pad thai but without the peanut sauce.

We stumbled upon lily’s set up, and were drawn in by the smell. We hadn’t had dinner plans, so we thought we might give it a try. We were blown away by how good it was! We got the mini dumplings, scallion pancakes, and lobster/shrimp stir fry noodles. Everything was 10/10.

Cheap, fast, and friendly service. Exactly what my wife and I needed on a busy Friday between shopping. It’s a great option if you want a quick grab-n-go type meal outdoors!
The portions were plentiful. Would recommend if you’re looking to fill your stomach quickly

This is a shockingly great food cart. Like you will be taken aback at just how delicious this Chinese food is in the middle of Freeport when you were thinking the only thing on offer would be lobster rolls. Very likely the best Asian food you’ll have in Maine.

If you’re even remotely considering it, you should 100% try the dumplings and/or Scallion Pancakes (ideally do both). Just fantastic. Lily is a delight and Freeport/Bean is lucky to have her.

We are here a couple years ago and still talk about it. It was genuinely the best food I've ever eaten in my life. We want to travel back to Freeport just to eat at Lily's food cart. We loved it so much we went back again the next day.

Absolutely delicious. I am gluten free and was able to get the vegan dumplings so tasty I was so pumped to be able to order these! Crispy outside…I also ordered the gluten free noodles and chicken. It’s all I can think about. I just need more! Staff is very kind and considerate.

Found this spot randomly. Good portion sizes for options given. Can wait for up to 10 minutes if busy. There are plenty of sauces to choose from as well. Would come back in the future.

Delicious. Absolutely delicious. We are visiting for a week and made sure to visit Lily's food cart twice while we were in town. We are vegetarian and we were impressed there were options. She has vegan too! The dumplings stole the show hands down, and you can't go wrong with any of the dumpling dipping sauces; they were all delicious. The scallion pancakes were really good and we used the dipping sauces for those too. I always love noodles and the rice was wonderful. Honestly, next time were back in town we will check back at Lily's and grab a bite.

Suggestion come at a weird time, she is very popular (and she should be) it is absolutely worth the wait but it's always nice when you don't have to.

Lily was so friendly and talked with us about which sauces would go well on each dish. The food was absolutely delicious. Chicken dumplings with garlic soy sauce and chili oil made my week. My friends got the noodles and rice and they were also incredible. We took some scallion pancakes with us and are enjoying them as I write this review. Absolutely will be back!

What a great find when walking from LL Bean to find the kiddo something to eat. We had the mini chicken dumplings, veggie noodles, and scallion pancakes. We stopped by when they were just starting to be busy, so there was a little wait but as soon as each item was ready they called out our name. We enjoyed every but of what we had and only wish we had room to get rice to share too! Portions were good and the shaded picnic table was a nice place to enjoy our lunch.

Don’t let looks deceive you! This food cart adjacent to a few picnic tables doesn’t look super promising but Lilly is super friendly and the food is fantastic. We had two cups of the mini dumplings, fried rice and plain noodles.

Stopped by yesterday on a trip to LLBean. We are from Westbrook and don’t usually venture around Freeport. But I so glad we stopped by. Had the mini dumplings and a soda. The dumplings were amazing! A totally crave-worthy place! We will be back!

The food was amazing, service was impeccable. I was surprised they were able to keep all the orders in line with such a pragmatic system. I hope you continue to do well!

It's Always a pleasure topped with amazing food. From the dumplings. That I will tell people it's worth the trip up to Freeport just to have. To the noodle dishes. The amazing cherry on top is Lily who is always so friendly even when they are supper busy.

Freeport and the surrounding area may have a ton of great places to east, but by far my favorite place to get not only a quick meal, but an amazing one is here. Don't sleep on it on your next trip into Freeport.

Great food and service! It’s hard to find vegetarian/vegan options, but there are quite a few options for dietary restrictions (including GF). Lily’s food cart serves delicious & reasonably priced vegetarian dumplings, noodles, and rice dishes.

Awesome, fun place to have a nosh and sit on a picnic table under the trees! Vegetarian and gluten free options - this is a hard niche to find delicious food, but Lily's had it! Pleasant family serving up outstanding food! There's a bit of a wait - so grab a lemonade and relax.
