Village Hat Shop

This a great shop, located in a fun tourist location. Everything in the store is great quality and the prices are fair, certain products are actually priced better than if you go directly to the brand, such as Broxon and Stetson. The hours are 10-6 weekdays and 12-8 weekends, but online it says other hours, maybe for the San Diego locations? The hats are of good quality so don’t come in with food, seems like common sense. When I called the girl who answered was attentive and welcoming, informing me that the store is practical with social distancing, that face masks are required but we are allowed to try the hats on. I saw a hat online and the girl was able to set it aside for me so when I came it was ready for me. I was really surprised with the information that the folks who work there new. I like the variety that was in the store. Parking isn’t free but that’s ok, most parking in Long Beach costs and because this is a tourist location. Fun place to shop, great service when I came, and there’s a lot to do in the area, especially if you like to shop!

A really fun hatshop with a wide selection of both everyday use and novelty hats. I have gotten some flat caps here, and prices always seem to be fair, comparing pretty much equivalently to any online availabilities.

I love my paper boy hats and when I exchange a hat I ordered on-line that was too big it was no problem the people who work here are wondering

Anita & Liyah were extremely helpful. They both maintained a very positive attitude and went out of their way to offer many suggestions and help me choose the right hat. They also gave me a lot of advice on how to maintain the hat’s condition!

I am only in LA for a few days, and this experience has definitely enhanced my visit.

What a fun store. Today was great! I came in wit my lady to look for men's dress hats and I got entertainment instead. The girls working, I APLAUD YOU! They handled a sticky situation way better than I would have haha. Let me tell you that some people need to calm down, and today we witnessed a crazy lady going off in the store! The girls working were very knowledgeable and kind. Good store for a lot, we were not expecting there to be so many options. Will be back.

Went there today & was totally blown away by this place. They have so many types of hats. It's a Specialty Hat Store. I was looking for a classic grey 1920's newsboy cap. Found it and it's BEAUTIFUL. Many styles and colors. Starting from 20 dollars to about 60 dollars. Very affordable. You should check out there website & type the selection you want. I Definitely Recommend this place. Very friendly and informative staff.

Best hat shop in Southern California. Great variety in sizes and styles from baseball caps to Easter bonnets. I love cloche hats and they always have a great variety. My husband loves their Tilley hat selections.

This is such a great hat shop. It basically has a hat for everyone. While you are strolling around make sure you stop by and outfit yourself with new head gear to protect yourself from the Southern California sun. Took my father and his wife in there, bought him a Stetson - real classy & his wife a big brim colorful hat. We were all very happy.

Best hat shop I've been in in years! And I don't mean baseball hats, but all hats! I'm talking Fedoras, porkpie hats, Kangols of kinds! This place is like a toy store for hat enthusiasts! I'll Definitely be returning!

Great selection of hats, very knowledgeable staff. I received quite the education on high quality vs average fedoras. Purchased a Tilly LTM6 for my fishing jaunts.

Great selection on hard to find fadora and other types of hats. Most prices seemed reasonable. Clean and well organized. I'm not one to easily award 5 stars.

Parking was the only challenge. They had what I wanted, and were very polite. As for safety from COVID, be cautious and wear a mask. The whole of Shoreline Village was a super spreader place, it was packed.

Large selection of hats. I was surprised with this place. I'm glad I found exactly what I was looking for, a hat not found in any other hat stores.
