Sonic Drive-In

Really good and quick service, and the seating area is nice if you want to get out of the car. We like to order on the app (and get half priced drinks!) then check in and they usually bring it out in great time. Ice cream is great too!

I haven't been here in a while because I haven't ever really enjoyed this Sonic, BUT I am thoroughly impressed with the experience we just had. Our order was accurate. The food was great, and our server was very friendly. It was fast as well! Great improvements!

Do yourself a favor AND order thru the Sonic app. The is authorized better chance they will get your order right as there is no misinterpretation of printed instructions. Drinks and shakes are 1/2 off all day when you use the app and I'm all about 50% off anything.

Once a Crew Leader at Sonic (at both this store, and the one on Cedar Lake Rd), I had the opportunity to experiment, per say. 😏
During that time, I decided to mix Sprite w/ extra Mango flavoring.
And not in the slushy form, either;
purely on ice. (HA! Think about that!)
You have to try this; it is the most delicious fruit drink that you will ever taste!
Of course, who also doesn't love their fresh cheddar peppers?...
That's right; they have to be fresh. You know when you've been served some that were sitting under the heat lamp too long. That cheese will solidify.
Another thing that I really like is a regular hamburger, dressed, and to request that the cook sprinkle a little extra of Sonic's salt & pepper blend onto my hamburger BEFORE making my sandwich.
In my opinion, it is the perfect ratio of salt-to-pepper. Period.

I usually eat here at least 3 times a week because it’s so close to my college. MK is always my carhop and she is the absolute best! She always comes to my car with a smile and asks if there’s anything else she can get me. The food is always good quality and my special requests on milkshakes and other food orders have never been messed up. Love the Sonic of Long Beach!

Food came out fast and hot and was good for fast food. The service was EXCELLENT. Maddie brought our food out and two other employees (I didn't see their names) actually stopped to see if everything was good and if we needed condiments/etc. That kind of service and attention is appreciated. Keep up the good work.

The people are nice and helpful. They are always in a good mood and don't mind rolling, that is right...they skate!, out an extra packet of ketchup or mustard to your window. The drive through service is nice too. The kids enjoy getting out and sitting on the benches on a nice day. They love to see the people "zoom around like superheroes". My kids have an imagination!

We enjoy going to Sonic but the communication at the bays are not good. Either the voicing is to loud or not loud enough or static. Wish that could be corrected.

We got a corndog and an ice cream cone. They were good, just wish the corndog was a little crispy.

Mary and Payton were helpful. And on top of everything… our order took 30 min for 4 teas. And the night manager took 30 min to make fresh tea. And the stalls I went to 4 different ones and they are broke.

Good is always super fresh. Service is friendly, and they get complicated orders right nearly every time! Only complaint is that sometimes it takes a bit longer than you'd hope for "fast" food. But the fresh hot food is worth the wait in my opinion.

Portion sizes are small and burger was average, 3 star at best but the service is 5 star. Someone forgot the ranch packet I ordered and I clicked the button to ask for the ranch packet that was not in the bag and she said, "oh sorry, I'll be right out." Now I've heard that at other Sonic's which means I'll be out when I get around to it but less than 10 seconds later.... Boom! I have a ranch packet in hand! Nice! Your car hop Jolee provided quick and friendly service.

Always fast service. Have never messed up an order. Pleasant car hops. My only complaint is when paying with a card there isn't a way to tip

Not a great experience ordering but Jalisa, one off the young ladies on roller skates, took control of the situation and fixed everything. She was extremely sweet and professional and obviously great at her job. Her willingness to resolve the issue will be the ONLY reason I go back and the ONLY reason for the 5 star review.

It was very good. Double hamburger was hot. Tater tots were hot like they were right out of the fryer. Large order of onion rings was good. Still the best on the Coast.

Long beach sonic is, in my opinion, the absolute best with each employee making sure you are taken care of whether or not they are your server. I highly suggest it and while all the girls and guys are fantastic, ms. Madrina is by far the most professional, respectful and anticipates any need you have before being asked. Lovely team
