Absolutely amazing!! My husband LOVES deep dish and said “second best pizza I’ve ever had” - first being a place in Chicago. That’s saying a lot! Best pizza I’ve ever had. Not just saying that either. Go hungry! The owner was personable and super nice. We will be back!

It took me awhile to rate this 5 stars, as I was hovering on 4 stars for a bit, but 5 stars became the only choice when my wife and I had the leftovers three times... which were excellent each time.

Really, what more can one ask for from a pizza place?

Website is pretty good, although I was a bit confused as to "what" pies they offer...other than two pre-made choices.
Particularly to this regard, I was not certain how to make my own pizza, so I selected the Italian sausage variety.

I called in, and service was friendly and professional, and they even assisted me with directions.

When I arrived, I found the establishment clean and well-lit.

The service continued to be friendly throughout as I patiently waited to pick up my pizza at the proscribed time.

I ordered the deep-dish style, 16" for around $35.
When I received it, I noticed how heavy it was and knew in terms of portion - I was getting my money's worth.

The pizza itself was excellent, with plenty of marinara (which was not too sweet), plenty of delicious cheese, fresh toppings, and a pleasant watery finish to the crust which indicated a true, freshly made pie.

My only criticism was that the pizza was a bit undercooked in the middle, which was probably a facet of it's size and deep-dish nature.

The greatest compliment I can pay a restaurant is to say it was well worth my time and hard-earned money, and I intend to return.

I am from Chicago, and this is really delicious authentic pizza. The kind you would get at a neighborhood place in Chicago. You know this because the pizza is cut into squares! It is our favorite pizza place in Austin. So delicious. We have been here several times, and it is always very tasty. It is our weekend go-to!

*Not just saying this because there is a secret transport system that delivers pizzas directly from Lefty’s to Oris Dental Studio (located next door) through a complicated series of belts, pulleys, trap doors and dumb waiters. That would be preposterous. Awesome, but preposterous.

I encourage you to give this place a shot! Their pan pizza (i suggest extra crispy) is a hybrid between Chicago and Detroit style. We’ll be back!

So glad a friend shared this place with us as we were craving delicious Chicago style pizza! This place is spot on with their recipe. Ingredients are fresh and it was the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce to toppings! All of the employees were very friendly. I was impressed to see one of the owners working there on a Sunday night. He was very personable and friendly to everyone who walked in the door. The price was very reasonable and we will definitely be back to support their business again!

I have to tip my hat off to them. It was a crazy busy evening for them. With the power still out in Bee Caves & Lakeway. People were there to get some warm food. This was not my first time going there. The pan pizza we got was better than the last time. Considering how busy due to the circumstances. Thank you!!!

Try the Chicago Cut! We ordered a 16” because there were 3 of us. It weighed in at 7 lbs ! Not Kidding, it was so big I had to weigh it. Loved it!

The Chicago Cut Pizza and the cheese curds are a must try! The pizza was hot and delicious, very generous with the toppings.

I’ve been to Lefty’s multiple times and it’s always great. I’m a New Yorker who loves thin crust normally, but this pizza is the perfect version of Chicago style. It’s not too thick, the sauce is great, and it travels well, and reheats perfectly. The staff and management are always welcoming and accommodating. Worth the drive from downtown!

First experience at Lefty's yesterday. Very pleasantly surprised. The Large deep dish was a massive amount of delicious pizza. We will have leftovers for a couple days. It might seem a little expensive at first until you realize the amount of food you receive that is delicious. We will return often.

Lefty’s is the best pizza in Bee Cave area. Better than Via 313 in my opinion…tastes more homemade and fresh. Crust and base is better quality too. Just wish they delivered.

We stopped at Lefty's for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The workers were prompt and smiled in their work. The Chicago deep dish sausage with peppers was baked to perfection and so satisfying! Our thin crust pepperoni was thickly layered with the meat and cheese and equally as delicious! The locally sourced beer was a tasty addition.

My wife, young son and I are all very impressed with Lefty's. It's our first time having deep dish and you can easily tell they use high quality ingredients. Thin pie is excellent also -- everything is very delicious. Even my son who usually only ever lets us get one particular pizza now requests Lefty's ! Thank god because i needed some good Pizza! Lefty's will now be a weekly tradition going forward..

If you’re looking for an authentic Chicago pizza experience, this is the place for you! I have eaten here a few times and their pizza is fantastic! Their wine and beer are from local wineries and breweries, all very good! They served me with a cold mug! In addition the workers there were very friendly and courteous!

My first experience was incredible! I tried a little bit of everything because it all looked so good. I’m stoked to try out their new location. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t yet!
