Pelican Fish & Seafood

Hands down, this place has The. Best. Catfish anywhere in Texarkana. Nowhere else can compare now. The breading is flavorful and balances wonderfully with the fish itself. Their asparagus and corn on the cob? Also fantastic. I've been three times in the past month, and I am very much planning on revisiting time and time again.

This place is great! Friendly service, great food and the price is good. There's so much more here I need to try. We had crab cakes first, then salmon and my son had the catfish. Oh I also brought home blackberry cobbler for dessert. Worth going to, definitely!

Danny, the owner came and visited with me several times, making me feel right at home and very welcome. Assured me the food was spectacular, and it was. Sunny the manager came and we talked for some time, again, felt right at home. The atmosphere was peaceful and calm. Very quiet and I also talked with other patrons. Destiny, my server was an absolute delight. I took her suggestions and my grilled, blackened fish and grilled shrimp were perfection. I loved the dill tartar sauce, the pinto beans yummy. Also the honey glaze or sauce on the brussle sprouts, made my mouth water and go back for more. I visited the Pelican Seafood restaurant at 4 p.m and enjoyed my visit, the staff and bonus, excellent food. I will go back to try another menu item. I am excited to make their acquaintance. The love, was the special ingredient that made my visit and my food, cause for repeat business.

The steak was delicious as well as the fish and sides! The Man who greeted us personally cut my steak. I think he may be the owner. Not quite sure. A very clean and respectable place. The atmosphere was really great as well. Loved the kid friendly meal choices as well. I wish I had gotten pictures of our lunch but was kind of in a rush. We will definitely be going back on our next trip to Texarkana, and will get pictures and names of the people at the establishment.

This was my 4th time to visit Pelican Fish & Seafood and it seems to get better each time. Noticed a lot of new servers and they were on top of orders. Definitely a great place for America farmed catfish or seafood.

Fish was wonderful!! Beans and hushpuppies were great also. I had the the steamed broccoli and salad bar. Everything was so good. Okra and fries didn't taste very fresh for some others in our party, but we all agreed everything was so good that we will back! Server was attentive and so was whom I supposed to be the manager.

Food was delicious, staff is friendly with great service. Grandson approved!

Love this place. The owner, Danny, makes it his goal to speak to every customer to ensure you are getting the service you deserve. Food is delicious.. a little pricy but worth it!

My husband and I had our date night here. The fish was some of the best we've had in a long time. The hush puppys weren't bad, but not the best I've ever had. Our waitress was on point and very attentive. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I ate here for the first time tonight. I called to ask the wait time, which was about 30 minutes but they allowed us to put our name on the list before we even left the house. When we got there, there was no wait. The only complaint I would have is the wait for the food was long but again it was crowded and everything is cooked fresh! We both ordered fried catfish which automatically comes with beans and hush puppies plus you get to pick two more sides! Everything was hot and delicious! Our server, Angie, was friendly and attentive! I would highly recommend enjoying your dinner here!

We enjoyed our fish, oysters, and crab cakes. They just opened, so they are going to need a little bit of time to get it all together... but definitely worth giving the Pelican a chance. David McVay is a gracious owner and host.

We ordered from here for the first time. When I walked in I was greeted by a very nice lady she was professional and took my order. This was a to go order but the food came back fast. The food was hot, fresh and delicious.. I will be going back.

Fish is really good, definitely in my top 3 in the city. Love the pinto beans that come along with two other sides with the fish plates.

Great oysters. The atmosphere was very pleasant.

Wait time was short. Of course we went early on a Saturday. Food was served HOT. Great waitress (Gabby) we definitely will be back and we recommend the great fish to everyone.

They have more than fish. Anything you want .. It's there. Itssoooo good too.

This is clearly the best catfish in town. Hand battered onion rings, cheese sticks and kosher pickle spears. Twice baked potaos, pinto beans and all food was amazing!!
