Pops Place

This affordably awesome place in Texarkana, Arkansas hits the spot like no other. Visiting from Little Rock, Arkansas & we were not disappointed not one bit. Great staff and service also!

Every thing about this place I love! The steak we shared was amazing… the twice baked potatoes were great! The atmosphere is relaxed and DJ our waiter was attentive and accommodating. What better place to dine and unwind after a long day of airline travel! Thank you so much!

I have lived in the Texarkana area for the last 3 plus years and cannot believe no one ever told me about this place; I had to find it by chance. I ordered their 16 oz ribeye steak and it was cooked medium rare to perfection. I also had a baked potato and grilled brocolli plus a small tossed salad. There was nothing bad at all about any of it. The waitress gave excellent service and brewed a fresh pot of coffee for me. I plan to be here again soon. Wish I had found this place sooner. Only downside is limited hours and only open 4 days per week.

Food was delicious. Atmosphere great. DJ, our server was outstanding. We split the large porterhouse. Two thumbs up.

Took the Missouri Western football team from saint Joe Missouri here. It was some awesome food. It was a nice set up and I would go back if I'm in the area. I 100% recommend this place.

That has got to be the best filet mignon I've ever had. My medium steak was perfect, deliciously seasoned and tender. Don't even get me started on the apps. I had the Boudain dip. One word YUM!!

Pop’s Place is my favorite restaurant in this area. Great food, great service, great music playing, reasonable pricing. Laid back atmosphere! Totally awesome place! I love Shrimp & Grits and have eaten it all over the south in our travels. Well, Pop’s Place has Crawfish & Grits…and it is better than any shrimp & grits I’ve ever eaten anywhere. And, you get bread pudding with your check!! 😁

My husband said he had the best steak he's ever eaten here tonight! I don't eat steak, but the burger was awesome and the sweet tea is excellent too! The fried pickles are some of the best, and we try them everywhere we go. You've got to check out the firepit on the deck out back!!❤ If you are looking for a place with the best food and atmosphere, this is IT! No need to dress up, it's casual. Don't let the looks on the outside fool you! Don't forget to read all the signs, some are absolutely hilarious! Love this place!

Found this place from a travel website recommendation and they were right. This place will not disappoint you. Staff are friendly and courteous. Our waitress even helped us find a hotel when all others were sold out. The food was the best I've ever had. The sample of crawfish grits left us taking an order to go. It was just as good the next day. The parking lot looks busy but we were seated right away. All seating is covered outside and just adds to the ambiance this place. This is definitely an out of the way stop well worth it.

We drove 2 hours after hearing only good things about Pop's Place and let me just say, it was fantastic. The service was great. Everyone was super friendly. The oysters were delicious as well as the steaks. So good. Last but not least, the company was top notch. Here's lookin at you Erby!!

They live up to the online reviews! I had the Ribeye and ir was perfectly cooked! The roasted broccoli was a treat too.

Highly recommend this place! We came in from Dallas and loved the whole experience. We sat on the patio with the breeze and got to enjoy the down to earth environment. Food is tasty and service was great! Go check this place out!!!

Idyllic LA (lower Arkansas) beer joint with an air conditioned bar and a swamp cooler outdoor dining room. Good fish, great steak, and a perfect vibe. Exactly what we were looking for.

Food was delicious at extremely reasonable prices. More than that was the service! Lauren was my waitress, and she was truly the sweetest woman I've met down here. Us northerners could most definitely learn a thing or two about customer service, and genuinely being a good human, from the folks down here!

Great place to eat! We stopped in here on a Saturday night, and we got seated pretty quickly. The steaks were wonderful! We also had a crawfish dip of some kind as an appetizer, and it was also great!

Food was very good, the fried pickles were perfectly crispy, steak was perfection, burger was nice too. Lovely service and atmosphere too.
