AMAZING! I got tiramisu and I was expecting the regular mascarpone cream and was I surprised. It reminds me of a cheesecake but not that dense, the cocoa is strong but not overpowering, you get the coffee which isn’t bitter. I will definitely be back to try more.

Good vegetarian food with separate in menu. Kids liked it. Limited menu though. Desserts are good too.

Visited the place to eat Mediterranean food in New Brunswick. This place is good.

I tried Lentils Soup and Veg platter hummus. The food is amazing. The ambiance is nice and well decorated.

For a group, you will need order 3 dishes.

As MiddleEasterner, I definitely suggest this high quality Turkish restaurant for Kebab lovers. The food was so delicious as you feel you are in Istanbul and the hospitality proves it.
Don’t forget to order Ayran (yougurt drink) as drink and Keshkul as dessert.
I will come back again !

Authentic Mediterranean food in the heart of the college town of Rutgers and New Brunswick. You will not go wrong with any of the appetizers or main course.

Got the chicken garlic and octopus salad without tomatoes also tried the grape leaves. Overall 10/10 I’ve been here 3 before because my sister went to Rutgers

I visited this place few days back and I absolutely loved it… the ambiance the service the food was really good… only issue is the parking.. as its New Brunswick… but the overall experience was really good. Will be going back there again soon..

The food is good and service is awesome. It feels like you are in Istanbul getting authentic Turkish food.

The food is good, but not as good as what you get in istanbul.

Their baklava and deserts are comparable to what you get in a decent turkish pastry shop.

Great place for some great food. The bread they give you after you place your order is very warm and soft. The sauces they provide with the bread are to die for.

I ordered some chicken and the wait time for the food was reasonable, the food itself was flavorful, specially when combined with the sauces. The rice was also surprisingly good. I was expecting generic white rice but this was moist, richly flavored and I couldn't stop eating it! The little veggies provided on the side were also nice to eat with a flavorful but light relish.

My only feedback to the management/staff is this:

I was done with my food at about 11:15PM. The restaurant closes at midnight. Understandably, the staff was cleaning up the windows before closing. This would usually not be a problem except the cleaner being used was Windex (or something very similar to it) and had a very strong smell to it. I would recommend either using an odorless cleaner or cleaning the windows after there are no more customers remaining. The strong smell of the cleaning solution being used right next to me really affected the flavor of the food (but I'm glad I was almost done eating anyway). Just some small feedback.

Food - Amazing & delicious . I’m a huge fan of falafels and they made them just right. Recommended us good drinks as well.
Atmosphere- beautifully designed & very intimate for a lunch date with your bestie , first date or night out with your family .

Solid Mediterranean food. Price can range from $20+ to just $10 depending on what you order. They also give you some good bread and dipping sauce as appetizers. Would come again!

This place has a great atmosphere and the food was amazing. I personally had the Lamb Adana Kebab and it was great, this restaurant has great food and nice service.

Their quality and flavor is always consistent. Items i highly recommend and usually start with are the hummus, I like to add hot sauce to it. Adana chicken kebab over rice with their white sauce and hot sauce for the main. Finish off with classic Mediterranean baklava. A meal that will not disappoint!

Devoured. Excellent food, quick service, real Turkish I am Armenian and I know this food, when I tell you this is good Turkish cuisine. The takeout is quick and great too hit the spot and employees are extremely friendly. 10/10 would recommend. Nice people, clean place, delicious authentic style food 👍👍

Favorite Go To spot for a kebab sit down. Hummus and babaguse is good here as well. Everything I've tried here has hit the spot. A New Brunswick food haven.

I usually get the mixed grill to share, lentil soup, and now they have a connecting Cafe so they have much more dessert options as well.

Service here is also usually quick and on top of things.

We have an amazing experience with EFES in our last lovely dinner. I'm a Mediterranean food lover and it's a great place for people like me. We have explored available turkish restaurants in Central Jersey area and would share EFES as a top rank one. The food tastes really good and especially the dessert will keep you in a nostalgia 😋 Overall the people are very friendly and the ambient offers a feel of quality time with colorful lights! You certainly can plan a enjoyable experience at EFES - just get your plan booked!

They have the best lamb chops! The staff is very friendly as well and all the food is excellent. The lentil soup is really good too

Very pleasant, pretty, comfortable place with excellent, tasty food and good, unobtrusive service from a nice staff. I met a friend for lunch there that I hadn't seen in a long time and they let us stay there and talk for a good while. Sweet.
