United AME is an amazing church filled with radical hospitality and great leadership.

I first stepped into the church in August 2018 after relocating to Ohio for educational endeavors. I did not know what to expect, but my spirit immediately felt "HOME" in a foreign place once I entered in. I'm thankful that I decided to go to this church on church street on that specific day.

Pastor Freeman and the ministerial staff joyfully took me under their guidance and empowered me to do ministry in this great place. My testimony would be incomplete without the love, prayers, support and encouragement from the body of Christ represented at United AME.

There are so many great ministries that take place here. They teach children Spanish during Sunday School, host a monthly dinner free for the public and serve as community food bank once a month. If you’re in Xenia or a surrounding community I welcome to you come to United AME.

There’s a place for you here. United AME is “HOME” for me and it can be the same for you.

If you want to go to a place of worship this is the place to be. Great fellowship, great worship experience and people there are very welcome me as soon as you come through the door. They have things for the kids, they have things for the older people and they have things for the people in between. There's always things to do throughout the week here and the pastor is very helpful, listens and gives great advice. Definitely will be back here.
