Blazes Burgers

Traveled a lot. One of the Best Burgers I've ever had. Ordered the Big Blaze, never fell apart. Roll and burgers stayed intact. Juicy and so good to the last bite! Tater tots were crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. My friends had the cowboy and cheeseburger sub- both of which were excellent. 🍔👍

Sooooo... let me just say, this was THE BEST burger I have had in a very long time! It was also the best food that we had on our weekend trip to Maine! Alex, the owner, politely and patiently answered all of our questions. Oh! The sweet potato tots are amazing! They're the best I have ever had!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU'RE IN MAINE!!!

First thing first, I have to give it to Alex because he is such a cool and awesome vibe of a person. Now here’s the part y’all want to know about, if you love a good burger I would suggest going or at least trying Blazes Burgers in Westbrook Maine at least once or twice. I went with some family and friends and we ALL loved it. I am super picky when it comes to a good burger but BB really did their big one. I got the crack cheeseburger because I asked Alex what the most popular burger was and it did not disappoint. I was indecisive on fries or tots and he told me get both, so good and crispy just like the onion rings (yum) and the sweet potato tater tots (GET THEM). I didn’t even know that it was possible to make tots out of sweet potatoes, but it is and they are good! Now if people from the south say that your food is great then you KNOW you’re doing something right. I will definitely go back and try new items on the menu, thank you once again for the amazing hospitality.

Hands down the best burgers around. Easy to order and many options to choose from. I had the Black n Blue burger. Great size burger, bun grilled to perfection and he doesn’t skimp on the toppings. 10/10 for me. Don’t sleep on this place!!

Great atmosphere, the people who work there are really friendly. The burgers are amazing! I got the Black and Blue, it was perfectly cooked, loaded with bacon, and had a delicious sauce. The fries and tots are great too, not too greasy and very flavorful. I would recommend Blazes to anyone who likes a good burger.

We decided to check this place out after a day of walking around South Portland and light houses. The burgers were great, and the Poutine Tots were amazing! I got the Spicy Burger, and it lived up to it's name. There were large chunks of jalapeños and habaneros. Definitely not for the faint at heart. I'm pretty well seasoned in heat, and it took me by surprise. Even gave me hiccups after the first bite. It was fantastic. Lol. The prices were very reasonable as well. Definitely check it out.

Hands down the best loaded fries I've ever had. So glad we stopped here for lunch. Both folks working were absolutely fantasic with recommendations and so friendly checking on us as we ate. The dining room was extremely clean and inviting. My husband tried the famous crack burger and loved every bite. Definitely shareable portions for a very reasonable price. We can't wait to make the trip back.

We're in town for a hockey camp. My son said he wanted a burger for lunch and we couldn't be happier with our choice of spots. He had a bacon cheeseburger with hand cut fries. I had the breakfast burger with sautéed onions and onion rings. The portions are heaping the atmosphere is casual and the staff is as friendly and helpful as you could ask for. If you're in the book for a fresh hand made burger you don't want to miss this place.

Great experience here. Was here two Saturdays ago. FYI, parking was easy to find around this area. It was a Saturday night when we went. Most locals seemed to get their order to go. The menu is pretty amazing. Everything sounded great. I ended up getting the "Breakfast Burger". I loved it. The melted cheese & crunch from the bacon made it perfect. The over medium egg on the burger was a nice touch and added a nice texture. The waffle fries were just as good, perfectly crispy, and the seasoning had a little kick to it, which I like. My friend enjoyed his hotdogs & fries. The food was excellent, but the highlight of the experience was the service, and meeting who I think is the owner? He offered future suggestions, and even gave us a sample of "The Crack Sauce". With a name like that, everyone has to try it at least once, am I right? It was creamy, thick, and had a nice kick to this sauce as well. The locals also suggested that we try the "Beefed Up Grilled Cheese". Thanks folks! Give this place a try. I definitely will be coming back.

I had the cowboy burger and it was delicious! It tasted fresh and it was packed with flavor. Came with my choice of french fries, sweet potato fries, or tater tot’s (I got the tot’s). Very responsibly priced as well. I’ll definitely be back!

The family and I stopped in after hearing about a local burger joint we just had to try. The venue resembles a local dive that you just know has good food and it sure did. They also have a cozy bar with draft beer. We ordered three burgers, fried pickles, and cheese sticks. The whole family enjoyed and the Owner or GM was wonderful. They brought our little crayons and had high chairs available. If you're in the mood for a great burger at a reasonable price this is your place. 👏

The highlight of our trip. We went in the middle of a snowstorm and the staff were all in good spirits, giving us great recommendations and suggestions. The burgers were fresh, piping hot, and not dripping in fluid with soggy bread like other places. The burger combinations were equally as tasty without being overwhelming or trying to be 'unique', and the pickle chips were crisp. The place was small but clean and well spaced. I will definitely go out of my way to come back in the future.

If youre a foodie and been looking for your go-to burger joint, congrats! Cause your just found it. Hands down the best burger in the state, owner is sincere, kind and welcoming. If you like chicken sandwiches i highly recommend the crack chicken sandwich!
Portions are huge, so if you get a double, youre probably gonna get the meat sweats!

Blazes is a small place with a very helpful and attentive staff.

First time, really enjoyed the experience. Mom had little cheeseburger- just the right size, especially after adding toppings! Kid had cheeseburger and inhaled it! Chicken parm for me and toasted ravioli. Yummmm! Corner of remembrance noted and appreciated. Will return next time I'm back to visit mom.

Was in the WB today, he t up google for best burger near me. Blazes was only a couple blocks away, and hard good reviews so I checked it out. AWESOME! Best burger with home cut fries I have had in some time. GO THERE, they have The Beef !!

Typical American food, but tastes phenomenal! The fries were not soaked in oil. Owner is both the cook and the waitress, he is very friendly and obviously enjoys what he is doing. If you order anything with blue cheese get ready for the salt.

They know their burgers! Their prices are very affordable and they are friendly!
Burgers are tasty ! Filling and they don't skimp on the toppings!
Broccoli and cheddar nugget things were very tasty in a guilty pleasure kind of way. The cheese tastes more like American/nacho style than cheddar. I would eat a bucket of them but I know I shouldn't.
Mac and cheese was pretty greasy and not very cheesy. Lacked cheesy flavor and creamyness. Would not recommend.

Over all I'd definitely go back for the burgers. Very well made! Excited to go back to try the burger with the pinapple on it! Sounds interesting!

Service is very accommodating and friendly.
