My lady and I stopped in to try some wine and we're delighted by the charm and the ambiance of this wonderful wine bar. The owner is kind and the service was divine. When I'm in town I definently plan to visit again. This place made my day

My boyfriend, daughter and I visited this mall to attend the Electric City Aquarium and stopped at this restaurant to eat before. When we walked in i immediately noticed how great everyone’s hospitality was, We gave our order & the lady let us know that food for babies are free which is AMAZING! While our order was being cooked she recommended us to a bridge like place just outside the doors & we got to see a beautiful view . Me and my boyfriend ordered burger and fries and our daughter had chicken nuggets with fried , it was probably the best I ever had. 10/10 recommend to check this place out , We’ll definitely be back.

Awesome little gem! Extremely kid friendly. Food was excellent (I got the beef gyro and will definitely be going back to try more of the menu!). Thank you for being a fun place for my son and I to have a meal together!

Was in town for the half marathon on sunday and was looking for a quick bite to eat before leaving. Stumbled upon Betty's Bar and Grill and had a wonderful lunch. The staff was over the top friendly and making sure we had a good experience. The food was very good as well. Hope nothing but the best for Betty's as it is filled with good people and will be stopping by again if I'm ever in the area.

The moment I walked in I was greeted with a kindled atmosphere. The kind that transverse me as if I was near a fireplace with soothing music playing. The company was outstanding and more than happy to help out. The food is delectable it's not a large menu but that's how you know it's good. They focus on what's good and they take their time to garentee what you eat will be a satisfying experience. From the moment you walk in, and until your last bite, you'll notice the love and passion the owner puts into. Don't be shy, try it out and say Hi.

Had a very enjoyable meal here and got to chat with the owners. We had the shrimp po boy and the fried fish dinner. It’s definitely some home good cooking and the candied yams were like pie at thanksgiving! It’s the hidden gem of the Steamtown marketplace mall!

Dropped in for a late lunch while traveling, and the owner made sure to spend time with customers but was also cooking. He uses his mother’s recipes for several of the items, like the tuna and chicken salad, and the fish and chips - my son called the fish and chips a 9 out of 10, my wife loved her tuna melt, and my burger was great. Add that to the service-oriented owner and staff, and a casual, leisurely Sunday lunch became are really fun and charming experience. Definitely swing by, and enjoy some of his mom’s recipes - she’s the “Betty” in the name. I never write reviews - ever - but Paul made an impression and when someone is passionate and wants to honor their mom and achieve their dream, they need our support. So go have a great meal and help this restaurant thrive!

Absolutely love this bar. It’s run by a very enthusiastic and diverse staff of cool people. Food is all soul food and ital. great environment with many fun activities and events such as the “All Black” dance party. Stop in for a Samuel Adams and some Jerk Chicken whenever you’re in The Electric City !!!

Had a fantastic experience and wonderful drinks. They had spring fling drink of the day that made me feel amazing. Lovely people and vibes. I would recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

Excellent fish and chips EVER!
Run don’t walk. Great hang with a full bar and loads of beer choices.

Ww just left this little gem in the mall at Steamtown. The food was great but what made the dining experience was how from when we first walked in we were treated like family...combine the great food, fair prices an amazing ambiance and new friends we made during our meal...we will be returning soon hungry!!!

We stumbled into Betty’s on an afternoon around town- what a gem. Everyone is super nice, the vibe is chill and inviting, and the food is to die for. This is the kind of place you want to stick around for a while- we’ll definitely be back!

Came here with some mom friends and a crew of 12 children. They were incredibly accommodating and kind. Timely service, nice wine, yummy food. They even offered free kids meals and put Bluey on the tv for them. 🙌

A must eat at bar and grill. Located on the 2nd floor of the Marketplace at Steamtown. Paul the owner/chef was super personable and cooked our food to order. Nothing was pre-cooked. I had the shrimp poboy and my husband had the Philly cheese steak both were AMAZING!!!!! This is a must stop in the Scranton, PA. Love us some Betty's bar and grill.

The owner, Paul, was so kind and attentive! The atmosphere was welcoming and light hearted. Felt like family!

Great place the Owner's Betty and family are very polite food is excellent service to notch kids eat free until 4pm
