Teatro Italian Food & Wine

I recently visited Teatro and had an exceptional experience! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. While the menu could benefit from a bit more variety, the dishes we ordered were expertly prepared. My only minor complaint is that the prices are a tad steep, but the quality and portion sizes justify the cost. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and impressed, and I’d highly recommend this hidden gem to others. Well worth the 5-star rating!

This is a secret in Flagstaff. If you don’t know Flagstaff, you need to ask a local person. It was my husband’s and my date-versary while we were relocating from Oregon to Texas and in Flagstaff having dinner at chili. It is kind of a working man’s area and a college town so there’s not a ton of upscale restaurants. This is one of the most beautiful restaurants and the bartender, Tan, knew his fine food and bartending and Services is very well! at the bar like we always do and talk to people who were all over the world and really enjoy the atmosphere, the service and the outstanding food!!! What a treat to find a never been to Flagstaff before! We received that referral from Erin, at Chili’s in Flagstaff! Very happy!!

Wow, a nice place in DTFlag, to come in and have a sexy delicious dinner (or even a lunch!) The ambience as soon as you walk in is inviting and you can sit at the bar and get to know people or enjoy intimacy at the tables.
I decided to dine here after taking in the Art Walk in Flagstaff and they delivered!
Cody and Blaze made sure I was taken care of, making delicious and strong cocktails, the kitchen created the delicious Caesar salad with added Salmon and I followed it up with the Flourless Chocolate Cake definitely worth it!
Definitely will be back!!!

Fantastic! We went there one night, and returned the 2nd and 3rd night! It was that great! 3 nights in a row.
Staff, cooks, servers and the manager who is excellent in her knowledge of wine all are really good.
The food was superb and we were just floored by the excellence!!
I wish were in my hometown.
I wish I had taken more pictures but I was too busy eating.

A gem in the center of Flagstaff. Not your typical Flag eatery. It’s a culinary treat with an upscale vibe. Outstanding Italian cuisine, with a menu true to Italian dinner transitions. Excellent wine choices that you would expect if dining in Tuscany. The sea bass is amazing, served on a bed of fennel. Some of the best tagliatelle with a lamb ragu. Exquisite desserts! Oh, and the bread. Absolutely amazing!

Love it, what a great Italian restaurant! We started with the "antipasto Italiano," which was superb. Also ordered the side of "Pan e Burro," which is 3 different flavors of home baked bread were to die for. For a main course, my partner had the "Carpaccio di Manzo"and started that it was one of the best he'd ever had. I got the "Cavatelli all Raggu" who's is lamb leprechaun braised in rich tomato sauce. It was perfect for lamb by nature, which was a bit strong, and the tomato sauce was strong enough to compliment the homemade pasta.

Quite a delightful surprise ! Haven’t missed a step- atmosphere & decor warm yet modern and it feels very cozy. The bar creates wonderful cocktails and they have a signature under smoked glass drink. You can see the chefs making the pasta and the cuisine is delicious. Also the wine list, especially if you like Italian wine is quite extensive. Highly recommend this stop in Flagstaff. PS- that is not caviar… order dessert and you might find out what that creation is - very Heston Blumenthal!

What a wonderful time was had at Teatro! I love their other concepts and this did not disappoint! I am still thinking about the dessert a week later. Everything from the service to the food and drinks were amazing. Yes the price point is high but the serving sizes did not disappoint. Highly recommend!

Trendy new restaurant in Flagstaff. Creative and interesting menu without being pretentious. The staff is well-trained and knowledgeable. We had the Rack of Lamb which was excellent. However, the Tiramisu was the triumph of the evening. Presented and disguised to look like a tin of caviar the "caviar" you see pictured is actually tiny balls coffee tapioca bubbles!! Amazing. A "must visit" at least once when you're in Flagstaff.

Definitely a must visit restaurant in Flagstaff. The service was impeccable right from the moment we stepped through the door. We started with the bread and butter, which is not your normal b&b starter. These were hand crafted specialty b&b and were unbelievable. Followed with the tartare, which was delicious, but wished it had some plantains or crisps with it. We then shared the carbonara and it was thick and creamy and oh so good. Main course was next, with a gorgeous filet mignon that melted in my mouth. Finally, what we came for, the caviar tiramisu dessert. It was amazing and worth the trip alone.

The ciabatta with whipped ricotta is to die for. The gnocchi are savory little bundles to write home about. They have a cute little book they leave at your table with the check that you're supposed to write in- about anything! Be creative, I was!

Everything about this place was amazing! The house-made breads and Buratta salad were superb, the gnocchi was the most flavorful I have ever tasted, and the mussels were absolutely delish! Definitely the place to go while in Flagstaff!!!

Now in my top 5 restaurants experiences thus far.
I called 20 minutes ahead and asked if it was okay that I was a walk in at the bar on a Friday night…the response was in my favor (thanks Grace).
I showed up, I was greeted upon arrival and fortunately I was seated at a table instead, which was beyond what I expected. Upon entry the wall of wine bottles set the tone of this fine dining establishment. Elegant and refreshing with an intimate atmosphere.
Lexie was my server for the evening, Lexie is well attentive and definitely one of the best!
I ordered the bread service along with a Chianti by the glass and it was superb. I then followed up with the charcuterie board, by the way great presentation. I was going to order a gin martini but the selection was cumbersome with hopes in the future to add more variety of spirits. I planned this was the end of my experience but no.
I ask Lexie what dish would be best that is light and served with red sauce. Lexie informed me of a dish that was out of order and offered a coworker’s favorite dish as a replacement.
Caramelle Al Sugo Di Polpo, was Lexie’s recommendation and it was a new experience to say the least. The pasta, obviously made in-house, was good and the octopus tender. I was looking forward to the red sauce and unfortunately it was comparable to Chef Boyardee’s in a can. I paired this entree with a glass of Montepulciano, which was ok for $12 and I should’ve ordered another glass of the Chianti instead.
I observed the environment and it seemed great. The floor was well attentive with staff and even what seems to be upper management. The well dressed man in suits were talking to all guests at the tables and never bother to stop by to greet or check in with me (not a big deal) but I happened to be of color, just speculation of course. I enjoyed the sight of the smoked cocktail presentations which filled the restaurant with a wonderful aroma.
Overall, the experience for this brand new fine dining establishment set the tone right, which I will definitely recommend and will be back for more.

Excellent dining experience. It’s pricey but worth it. The Gnocchi was unbelievable. The filet was cooked perfectly. We ended the night with tiramisu and espresso. Great service and great food. Would recommend for a fine dining experience.

We had an amazing lunch here. Their food was the best we’ve had in Northern Arizona. Some of our favorites include the shrimp scampi and beet salad.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were excellent and the ambiance was spare, elegant and inviting. We ate dinner there twice and both experiences were wonderful.

They accommodated us on a Saturday night with no rezzos for the price fix meal. The staff is amazing! Really nice, knowledgeable & goes above to ensure you have an excellent dining experience. The restaurant itself is lovely, very sexy date night vibe. The food & presentation delicious & elegant. Try the mushroom salad! The lamb ragu and risotto were perfectly balanced. Finally the real star was the strange boba tiramisu, that looks like caviar.

Oh my! Our “go to” in Flagstaff from now on! The ribeye is amazing! Drinks to perfection! Tanner was spot on, very knowledgeable!

Lovely restaurant - food was delicious and atmosphere was pleasant. Waitstaff are attentive and helpful. The dishes are beautiful both aesthetically and in flavor!

Téatro is an excellent restaurant. The level of detail and professionalism is through the roof. They cooked our food incredibly well. I highly recommend a visit!
