Buffalo Park

Another beautiful hiking spot for beginners like myself. Very flat loops. Beautiful views. Just check ahead for events like marathons if you value alone time.

Love this dog friendly park. The views are fantastic and it’s a nice easy walk as long or as short as you’d like. If you’re ever in Flagstaff I would suggest trying this one with the family.

Great local park near downtown Flagstaff. Has a series of trails, including a popular 2-mile loop that is great for walking, running, and biking. Arizona Trail passes through it. Sweeping views of the San Francisco Peaks. An easy escape to nature for those looking for it.

Bathrooms were fun to say the least LOL, but it was very beautiful! We were lucky enough to catch the sunset. Definitely could turn into an all-day excursion if you are up for exploring the trails!

Really beautiful park if you want to go on a nice walk or stroll and enjoy beautiful scenery. The trails are clearly marked, including the really wide, dirt 2-mile loop. Very dog friendly and there are all sorts of exercise challenges around the loop. There was ample parking.

My family loves going to Buffalo Park every time we visit Flagstaff. It is an absolutely beautiful walk!

This is a beautiful park. The views are amazing. It is well maintained. The restrooms and grounds are clean. The trails are well marked. I envy the residents of Flagstaff. Luckily ii is a fairly short drive from Phoenix.

Nice park which is free for visitors. Go with your own equipments to play . Safety is our own responsibility. But very nice location, Mountain View covered with snow is nice from here, snow is thick as well. We went in January

Great for hiking or running, with beautiful views all around.

Several intersecting trails that can accommodate all-terrain wheelchairs, bikes, toddlers, elderly, and those that have walked miles or just from the living room to the couch.

I stayed at an Airbnb .5 mile nearby and didn't have any use for the car. A safe location for singletons, groups or teens. The trails are flat and wide with spaciousness of the meadows. A 360° surrounding views of mountains, trees, and fresh crisp air.

Because the trails can be confusing you may walk longer than your goal but no stress on the body. Well kept, super clean, clear marching signs throughout the park. Be kind to nature and leave it better than you arrived.

It was very muddy and snowy when we were there so bring appropriate footwear.

This park is gorgeous! We went twice while on vacation. The first time, we just went in the parking lot to use our telescope for stargazing. It was beautiful and a perfect spot. We also saw about 5 deer just outside the lot as we were leaving. The second time was before sunset. We did the loop which is flat and wide. Anyone could do this trail. The scenery is gorgeous. We also took the trail behind the park that goes through old lava flow. We went all the way down to an open valley like area and stopped since it was almost sunset but could have climbed the other side and kept going. Easy hike and so pretty and easy to get to. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous. Such a nice little spot for working our, cardio, or just taking a short stroll. Lots of cool bugs, birds, and plants!

Great park. Very easy trails to follow and not far from town at all. Great views too. Several rest rooms available.
