This, along with Heirloom, is the only place in the area to buy truly fashionable clothing. They have a stylish selection and will save you a trip to the big city. The staff is helpful and personable. You just know you got the good stuff when you shop here.

Rete is a small boutique owned by a lovely local woman with great style. Clothes, jewelry and accessories that fit both the wine country and urban trends.

Cute stuff, but it’s frustrating that they carry brands which offer women’s XL size clothing (Faherty, Rails), but only have clothes in size XS-L. Same for jeans and shorts - could only find 1 32 in the entire store, saw maybe 2 31s, almost everything was 25-29.

Re Te is a small boutique but don’t let that fool you. The prices alone will make you stagger and rethink the option of buying a simple shirt. The store does have cute options, but apparently you need to be an XS or S to fit in their clothes, as that’s all they have at the moment. Left disappointed but at least I didn’t kill my wallet.

Went in today to use a leftover credit that I had from returning a couple of pair of jeans. I thought it was odd that the card, was just a business card for the store with a written amount. I walked in to the store an asked a young lady if this was indeed a credit and she said yes and that it was as good as cash so be sure to hang to it. So I perused the store and found a very cute blouse. When I went up to the counter to check out the young lady who helped me before was getting ready to ring up the sale when this other woman stepped up and said, this card has a receipt attached right? I said no, and I’m not sure if I will be able to find it at home. She was completely condescending and said “well surely you understand that we can’t honor it without a receipt.” Well actually I can’t. I don’t care if you are a small boutique, things happen, you need to invest in a database and take care of your regular customers. She said “well we can’t keep track of everyone who comes into the store”. Surely I am not the first person that this has happened to?? I have shopped at this store several times and usually spend a good amount of money. However, since they were so comfortable with me flushing $218 dollars of my hard earned money down the drain, I will no longer be a customer. This is not rocket science lady!! Figure it out, take care of your customers.

This is in response to the owner's response of my review.
First, I do understand that it would be easy for someone to write a number, interestingly it would be for $218 exactly, on a business card and try to claim merchandise without the receipt. However, like I said in my first review your system is antiquated and outdated and to give better customer service you should come up with a better system than giving a person a business card with the amount of credit written on the front and staple a receipt to it that can be lost. Yes, I take responsibilty for losing the receipt but your business practices are poor. I wish you would undestand that!! Especially since you will not give customer's money back on returns and have a 30 day return policy in order to receive an in store credit.
Second, your attitue, if you are indeed the owner, was rude, condescending and lacked empathy. You became defensive and perturbed when I said I would not return and that you had lost a customer. This is evident in your response.
You can go ahead and keep my $218 dollars because you will not see one more dime from my pocket. I hope you sleep well knowing that's how your store makes a little extra profit, I am sure I am not the first person that has experienced this issue at your store.
If you had noticed, I was wearing a sweater from your store when I came in and counted about 8 more items in my closet from your store, I have only lived in the area a little over a year and a half, so I have been in often.
I used to work in healthcare, and they would tell us if one patient had a bad experience they would tell 7 people, and then those people would tell 7 people, and so on, do you get my drift? So I will be sure to tell everyone I know about this experience which is my right as a consumer, I may also consider reporting this to the BBB. One more thing, I have every right to complain and give a bad review about a business that has poor business practices. Good luck to you madame.

Try and avoid the short white blonde lady at the register. She is rude and has no clue what customer service means. Definitely not the experience you want shopping at a boutique. YUK!
