Presque Isle: Beach 11

The best beach for children on Presque Isle. Beach 11 is completely flat which makes it good for kids to run and play with toys. When we visited, it was out of the swimming season and end of summer. However, it was still perfect for a day at the beach.

Beautiful beaches. Life guards are posted on some stretches of beach. There are 11 total beaches some have concession stands, changing areas, and bathroom. No charge to visit- would highly recommend.

Love This Beach but it's at the end. So there is a nice breeze and the water is usually moving nicer

Not over-crowded. Very family friendly. Well-maintained. All of the perks you look for in a beach with few or any of the cons.

Wonderful time, really clean beach, not crowded at all and the water was great! The perfect place to fly a kite!

Beach 11 is quiet. It's shallow and on a very quiet portion of the isle. There is plenty of beach for social distancing and keeping space between patrons. There is a cute play ground area near the parking area. There are restroom facilities near the beach access. It can be a bit of a haul from the parking to the sand but not too bad.

It’s very clean. Life guards are there on site. It’s less crowded. Pets are allowed.

Love to ride my bike on the paths. Lots of nice people. Well maintained. Lots of space to picnic.

Like it there, but conneaut lake Ohio beach love it. It is much nicer and cleaner than the Pennsylvania side

Beautiful lake Erie! Family oriented, safe, and clean. Erie, PA., does not have anything to envy to the Florida beaches; in the summer, however.😁

July- perfect water temperature and occasional gentle waves. Perfect for little ones. Presque Isle days offered lots of vendors, food, and fun activities for the kids. Concession stand, bathrooms and playground too. Beautiful ride through the state park to get there.

Great beach. Day we were there it was closed due to water issues but still a quiet place to relax.

Great, safe and quiet beach. Furthest away but there are bathrooms, a shower and a little play area.

Beach 11 was great! The water was perfect, maybe a little too warm. The sand bar made it really accessible for smaller children. They had changing facilities and restrooms. Food trucks or vendors were available and they were great. A lot of events happening, such as a sand sculpture contest, music festival, and a bonfire in the evening. Very fun spot at the Isle

Beautiful beach, well kept and life guarded. Great spot for families. Bathhouse and picnic tables available. Free parking.

Nice area for family time. There are areas near the beach for kayaking.

This has to be one of the nicest beaches we visited on Presque Isle. Handicap accessible all the way to the water. It's clean, large, and has changing rooms, restrooms, and a playground.

Amazing beach at the end of the Presque Isle Peninsula. A natural park, bathrooms, dressing rooms, etc. There are often events here (sand sculpture contest, Ultimate Frisbee Tournament, etc), and the water is calm and clear. A great place to bring younger kids.

Great beach for families and littles who want to play at a beach but don't need huge waves or currents in the water. It has a great trail for biking, rollerblading, or walking. There is a nature preserve you can check out also. We enjoyed the time here! It also has some amusement parks and water parks at the entrance of the beach peninsula if you care to partake.
