Presque Isle: Beach 8

This beach is so nice and it wasn't very crowded. It stated that there was consessions at this location, however it was closed. They do have many bathrooms and are big enough to change with benches in them. They were clean and the water/ beach was well kept. Always love coming to erie!!

Beautiful sunny day. Perfect for relaxing, warm summer winds. So many activities to do. Bicycling, walking trails or walk the beach, life guards on the beach, picnic tables we had picnic buffet, kayaking, paddle boards. Restrooms close by beach.

This is my personal favorite beach on the peninsula. It has very soft sand, a snack bar, nice bathrooms. If you're lucky, you can catch it on a windy day and ride the waves like some sort of surf dude guy

This beach is beautiful; no complaints and has ample parking.

Perfect spot. Not too deep for kids and there are lifeguards as well. The facilities are kept up nicely and there are a number of handicapped changing rooms.

I absolutely love Presque Isle Park. We drive all the way from Buffalo NY just to hang out on the beaches. Even with everything going on with the pandemic the beaches are adequately staffed with life guards and there's plenty of room for social distancing on all the open beaches.

Great beach to go to on Presque Isle. Guarded, concession stand, and plenty of room to park.

Can't beat Erie Beaches and the Sunsets.

Clean, lots of beach to spread out. Water shallow enough for young kids always great sunsets

Clean, quiet, peaceful, sun bathers and swimmers alike. Well maintained and watched by lifeguards.

Great place to watch the sunset. Beaches are clean--water advisories are posted as you enter the park. Great walking and bike trails. Great mix of beach, harbor, lighthouses, wetlands, and historical markers all in one park. Great place to spend the day.

Wasn't too crowded. They had a lifeguard on duty.

I love Beach 8! It's a very sunny beach if that makes sense... Some of the other beaches have a lot of shade in the morning, but beach 8 is pretty wide open even in the mornings when I usually go there. It's also very comfortable sand, not super gravelly, and the parking and facilities are abundant. Overall one of my favorite beaches for sure!!

What a beautiful beach area!!! The entire peninsula is beach after beach. There is also plenty of tree covered trails. Even on the 4th of July weekend we found a quiet little corner and open parking. Bathrooms are at most designated parking areas. Limited concessions are available in Beach 8

Awesome beach to goto the bathroom, jk but they do have good restrooms here and showers. This is a great section of the peninsula and it’s definitely a popular beach. Beautiful sunsets as always!

Great family beach. Pleasant and sand is good. Bathrooms close and clean. Lifeguards did a super job on a very windy wavy day that I was there

Our favorite beach to bring our grandchildren for a day of swimming and playing fun! With a close parking and bathroom/changing facilities make this a favorite stop while visiting Presque Isle!

Beach 8 was great! Nice clean restoom/changing areas. There are waves for everyone to enjoy. Lifeguards are here. The beach was very clean.
