Sonny's BBQ

We love Sonnys curbside or inside. The rib special was half off so I got my plate for $9.. my kids loved their plates as well. I wish they still had the Salad bar bring that back!!

Beware! Kids may or may not eat free on Saturdays… Some times I am only charged for my meal and the kids free and this last time my receipt said “Kids Reward” and only took $10 off of the bill. Not sure what happened there

Tonight myself, my sister, her husband, and her two girls came in for dinner at our favorite restaurant. It’s our favorite because our mom used to work at Sonny’s when we were little. I’m posting this to highlight an amazing waitress and person. Tonight we all encountered a kind, sweet and beautiful person. Joy was our waitress and we had such a fun and amazing dinner with her. Thank you for serving us and taking care of us and making us feel right at home. Our mom passed away couple years ago and coming into Sonny’s is one way we like to continue our memory of her. Thank you for reminding us tonight of her. Your smile and laid back personality made our night and the food was delicious.

Me and my grandson love the food there at Sonys..what we had ordered wasn't on the menu that shows on this review... but my grandson ordered a bacon burger with fries.. and I ordered a half a chicken with baked potato and mac and cheese... The food was excellent... The chicken was not dry it was juicy and tasted Great 👍🏼. And my grandson love the bacon cheeseburger and fries so much he got full and he just loved it and couldn't stop talking about it.. now that says a lot about my grandson.. we will be going again as much as we can.. everybody was good the place was clean.. the waitress who was training a young man they were awesome.. and very kind.. and always checked on us to see if we needed anything.., so yes we will definitely keep going back.. and we give it an 11 ♥♥❤

We were traveling and decided to stop in Bartow Fl at Sonny’s. There was so much business that we knew the food would be fresh. My husband and I think it is the best Sonny’s we’ve ever eaten at. All the food we ordered was delicious and hot. The ladies taking the order were efficient and nice and accommodating to other customers also. We received our food in prompt timing-remember we waited just a little bit because of the overflow of business. Pleasant experience to two travelers.

Place was packed for the 1/2 price rib special. They really needed a few more servers with the crowd they were serving. Food was great and server was very good and friendly.

This Sonny’s has had quite the glow up over the years! It was very delicious!! The server was fantastic! And the food was superb! Overall, I’d definitely recommend them for some BBQ!

Sonny in General is amazing! Service here is great, just keeping table clean even when its not busy is a slower than most places buuutttttt what can you do besides the job for them or being a Karen and pointing it out to them😂

This is our favorite date night restaurant. If you go at the right time it's not crowded the servers are awesome and the food is always great. And buy one get one beers, can't beat that.

Had the 3 meat dinner. Ribs,smoked wings, & pulled pork with tater salad and baked beans. All good solid items. Not a bad one in the bunch. Would definitely eat there again! 👍👍

Baby back ribs were super good. Brisket was decent, better with a bit of sauce for sure. Corn nuggets were tasty as well.

The new peach cobbler egg rolls are GOOOOD!!

I've been going here since they closed a location closer to home. This location is exceeds my expectations, from food to service. The redneck egg rolls are amazing and worth the drive!

The one in Bartow is off the chain. Lakeland, not so good. If you live in Lakeland and think Sonny's is nasty. You owe it to yourself to take the short drive to Bartow.

Good service, quick delivery, great tasting food. Sadly, they were out of baked sweet potatoes, but the substitute I chose was delicious.

Was and is ALWAYS DELICIOUS, ordered online the family feast With..ribs, chicken and brisket sliced.. sides macaroni, bean, coleslaw and cornbread muffins with unsweetened iced tea 💯🖤💯🖤💯🖤💯YUMM YUMM YUMMY
